Last night my lean was on Minny but to be honest, neither team has impressed me so far. Particularly their defense. There's not enough data to justify both but so far, Atlanta's defense has been really concerning. My strongest angle would be on the Over but I personally wouldn't go big this time of the season. Character is just beginning to build up for the teams. Later on maybe I'll nickel them up. I think of the two goaltenders, Minny has the advantage. Over or Minny team total over would be my play(s) if I were pressed to make a bet. I like Calgary as they are now feeling the pressure to win at home. I know Kippy is better than he's shown so far and the goaltending duo from Colorado are pathetic. Raycroft is a certifiable douche, Budaj so-so.

Thanks for answering the question Doc. T-Unit...did you watch MNF last night! I'm still kicking my own ass for thinking about the side too much. Liked Cleveland a lot.

triple, I like Pittsburgh to be honest. That is from a pure pound-for-pound hunger for win point of view. Pens' coaching is outstanding. They come out and expect a win and nothing less EACH and every game they play. This is a winner's mentality. I followed the Flyers game yesterday. They looked like shit defensively. Meanwhile Pens will hang with you to the last second. It's very early but in my book Montreal and Pittsburgh are two of the top five organizations right now in NHL. That said, yes, I like Pittsburgh as well but I'm already locked in with a semi-chalky bet. Nothing's for sure except me losing a lot if they go 0-2. If I'm playing for a 1-1 night, I'd rather not bet. That's just me. I would just go with Pittsburgh small here. Like I said, it's too early...this is what I would call a "just have fun being a degenerate gambler" time of the season. Come mid-November. We're going to make serious coin. GL!
