Try about 400,00k - at least. That would be betting 5% of your bankroll in one play. Then betting about half of that on a halftime line. Sorry, not on planet earth.
I would love to see it get to be a place where average joe bettors could learn about the hobby and take advice for other bettors who have been there and done it before them. Not tail a "superstar." It ruins peoples entertainment (all it should be for most) and for many it seems they have lost more cash than they could afford. walktheline, why do you think lakers in salt lake (without the ATS run) would be 8-10 point underdogs when houston was 8 point? besides against houston in game 6, does it seem like the jazz offense looks kinda stiff? interested to hear your thoughts.

They look stiff as boards, and very slow. The Lakers could win on pure scoring alone, but I don't think they will. The Jazz play a type of style that when played properly, locks down a team like the Lakers. They can limit your inside game, and make you settle for mid-long range jumpers. When they started stuffing the middle and stopping the easy inside penetration, they started forcing turnovers. When the Jazz get turnovers, they tend to go on runs because most of their points come in the paint. Think of them like Detroit West.
They also crushed the Lakers on the glass. Huge advantage here. When you spend the entire shot clock smothering a team only to see them get the rebound and score, it is like punching them in the gut. Next time you watch a basketball game look for the conversion rate after an offensive rebound. It will make you think about this stat a little more. If you want an example, look at how Cleveland did the first game against Boston with Z. They must of had at least a dozen points come off of putbacks. Tonight they didn't, and look at the results on offense.
Once a team gets momentum in this area, it is very hard to stop. It opens up the entire offense for a team like them. They don't have someone like Kobe that can make his own space. It is very important to them. Once they get the inside game going, it opens up the outside game. See the Spurs vs Hornets tonight. Hornets doubled Duncan to stop the inside threat, he kicks it out. At least a dozen open three balls came from open Spurs. Finley from the corner, or Manu from his spot to the right or left of the key. Sounds like bullshit, but what changed that game? What about the 4 point play Manu hit exactly from that situation? Don't think that was huge?
Even with all of this crap, Basketball is still one of the most random games to bet in sports. You never know about fouls, or lack thereof. This is just some very general things that I observe when watching a game.
