I am a superstar. Nobody listens. Anyone that has actually read and followed anything I had to say about the games knows this. Some of those people you are talking about suck - well.. as far as record wise. Actually, I'm 4-0 on the sides picks. I would be 5-0 but I didn't post a pick for game 2 of the Lakers/Jazz.
I'm not going to insult any of the "superstars." I will say that very few of those folks impress me with gambling knowledge/insight. I'll leave it at that.
People need to wake up and stop the cycle that has been going on here as of late. It really sucks when I KNOW that casual bettors come in here and listen to some of the crap that is posted. They spend their hard earned money - even if it is a few extra dollars from some overtime or somethiing just for fun. That is what it is really about for 99% of people on this board. They need to stop listening to all this crazy hype and get some substance, not flash.
Some people are naive. They actually believe that there are people on here betting 20k on a random game. Do you know what type of bankroll (if your betting for a living) is needed for that? Try about 400,00k - at least. That would be betting 5% of your bankroll in one play. Then betting about half of that on a halftime line. Sorry, not on planet earth.
I would love to see it get to be a place where average joe bettors could learn about the hobby and take advice for other bettors who have been there and done it before them. Not tail a "superstar." It ruins peoples entertainment (all it should be for most) and for many it seems they have lost more cash than they could afford. Nobody made them bet, but people should cut through the fat and stop the crap all the time. It would give people a much better experience, imo.
You know what, the Lakers might win. However, I'm taking my stance to prove a gambling lesson. You don't go against a team that plays that well at home, and owns you on the boards. Even if said team has looked like dogshit, this is the much better play. Also, "on fire" Lakers look much better than they are since they played Denver in the first round. The books took a beating when the Lakers went on that long ATS run after they got Gasol. The money has been flowing that way ever since. THAT is why the line is -4. If it wasn't for the Lakers huge ATS run, on planet earth the Jazz would be about an 8-10 point fav. This is a perfect spot to show things people might not understand about certain matchups and the actual value of the line. That is my point.

Finally the Jazz is home and they are going to step up big tonight. They got a slow start in game 2, fell behind by double digit, tried hard to come back and almost made the cover. Lakers are 6-0 in the playoff but playing away from home especially in Utah is a different story. If it is a one game that the Jazz have to win, it is this game. I expect the public rougly 55 to 60% on the Lakers for this game. The Lakers are 6-1 SU against the Jazz which is an important note the one win for the Jazz coming at home against the Lakers on 11/30 when they won 120-96 covering as -7.5 chalks. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Jazz do well tonight and see this game to go over the set total.
BTW, you can always come back to Covers under different alias in case Utah fails to cover
. The OVER is pretty strong IMHO and I hope you like my goofy friday trend.

Good morning Jeopardy. Nice trends. No alias - I serve my time like a man. The mods know ip addresses better than their own social security numbers.
