Lakers @ Heat
thanks dude...I know exactly what you mean...and like I know I'll get the old
for this, but I had Boston/Lakers side & under/Tor/Denver lineup up as my picks for today. But I didn't have CPU access overnight and I only had a 1hr window in the morning to crunch #'s. By the time I got home, I had just hit the Lakers under, and couldn't bring myself to take my home team Raptors and the fishy Nuggets PK vs a banged up Cavs team.
So I chased a gay 2H Phx line and lost. I didn't know that Barbosa was out...not that it would've made too much of a difference. But the last few times I make my picks overnight, I spend the entire day following 2nd guessing myself...so I'm going to sleep on this parlay, plus my book doesn't have lines yet and I have to wait on injuries.

i'm starting to 2nd guess the lakers game...7.5 on a b2b with travel..but it was an early game...Crash really is a big part of this bet..
I like the Orlando game when it's -4, but I just don't like them enough to take -7. As long as Gooden/Gibson are out, I guess i could roll with -7.
I'm still on the raptors tomorrow. Lakers and Magic under's are still possiblities

In regards to injuries...I think Gibson (cle) will be out and he might be out until after the AS game, while Gooden is still up in the air. He's been missing for the last couple games, and with only a handful of games left before the break, the Cavs might want to rest everyone up for the 2nd "half".
Gerald Wallace has been rumored to sit until after the AS break himself. Instead of possibly aggravating the injury trying to play through it, it might make more sense in the long haul to allow him to rest up and come back strong. The AS Break has this great ability to extend injuries.
I'm also going to take a look at the Dal/Phi over 187.5. Philly's offense has been pretty good, based of A.Miller's ability to get into the paint. I don't see Barea or Terry stopping him. Iggy will matchup with Howard, and Dirk will have rookie Thaddeus Young guarding him. Coach Avery stresses defense a lot, but the 84 point performance vs the shitfest Nets will have him pretty pissed off. I'd imagine that after such a shitty offensive performance, that he'd push his guys to score in bunches tomorrow.

Trap for Dallas. They played like ass, people will assume that they bounce back and beat the Sixers, but they've actually been playing really well at home. If I had to take a side, I'd fade the Mavs. The over is getting too much public action, as well as the Lakers -7.5, and the Orl -4, which scares me off a little bit.
