With a few days til Game 6 and some room to breath, I'd like to hear who you guys think would qualify for the the all time NBA "CLASS and CHARACTER" Team.
Lebon James is such a polarizing figure. So much about him is said, written, scrutinized, idolized, criticized, lionized it gets numbing.
Abilities, trends, culture, rules, and the game itself have changed so dramatically through the decades ( for those of you who remember when "palming the ball" constituted a turnover) but two things have not. Dignity and Class are a constant but certainly not a given
Who are the players that stick out to you? Who are the guys that you loved or hated, won or lost for you, the ones that just made you shake your head back and forth and say under your breath "Damn that guy is good" but played with a quality not measured by the roster he was on or his commercial brand but his character.
I'll get the ball rolling with some early candidates and others

Was going to say Drexler, Dominique, Robinson.....I would add Sean Elliot, Mark Price and Brad Daugherty. Met Larry Nance a few times, very nice guy. Big Z Ilgauskas is another......who was the big serbian who played for Portland for many years? He was tough

Arvydas Sabonis might be what comes to your mind. He is Lithuanian, but close enough : )))
My pick is Magic Johnson. How he handled the HIV thing was such a class act ! Besides that, he always makes you smile, and seems so genuine about it.

Umm, Allow me to clarify. What I had in mind were players that carried themselves with dignity and character. NOT 'colorful' characters such as Dennis 'The Freak' Rodman. He would qualify for a thread of a different nature.
I certainly would not disqualify Jordan and Pippen
