3-2 lead heading to Miami and STILL barely ahead with your series prices. Betting game by game would have yielded a far greater return, and it's not even close.

The worst of them all was the +225 before today. Win as game 5 dogs and it's still +120. Needless to say, a Spurs backer who decided to take the series instead of betting them tonight isn't too happy right now.

&#x2B;120?? Is it out already? Amazing....I think series prices are better for the guys who don&#x27;t want to do the work. It&#x27;s very taxing in all honesty. This is a true zig-zag series and if someone wants to lock up the spurs at 2-1 or more than 2-1 at some point and just enjoy it the rest of the way looking for their pick to take the whole thing down, I don&#x27;t blame them.

Moneyshot of course they will, and they deserve to be. But its like hitting a &#x2B;200 only to find out &#x2B;300 was available elsewhere. Its like selling your stock at $20 per share to see you were taken advantage of when it was worth $25. Of course they should he happy, but Spurs series backers didnt maximize their returns.

yea &#x2B;300 was available elsewhere but you have to pick the exact games that they win which can sometimes be exponentially harder to do than sitting back and not wondering if its gonna be a zig zag series each and every game. Instead of just having to win 4/7 you are having to hit 3 out of 4 to profit in the method you are suggesting....that&#x27;s 57% you have to hit vs 75% you have to hit

And who said since you bet the series you can&#x27;t bet the games as well?  If you feel your going to win the series then most people probably did play the spurs in single games. woot woot

Well rangerz, you have your chance to rectify your previous oversight and jump on a very tasty looking +280 moneyline for spurs in game six. i was expecting +200 or +220, but the +280 is ridiculous as it appears linemakers are accounting for the heats stellar SU and ATS record after a loss.

If a game 7 is played, it will be likely around the plus 240 range

If we are talking the concept of betting the series before game 1, then just sitting back instead of betting game by game and avoiding picking your spots I 100% understand, that's a fair point. I still say you'd deserve better, but I get where you're coming from.

The one I will NOT understand are the Spurs backers who took the +225 series before TONIGHT, instead of simply betting them this game, and deciding what to do from there. From the game 6 line/adjusted series price, it's clear that +225 series before today should have been +300 easy. That's really the biggest point.

You could still end up with less than &#x2B;225 if the Spurs win the series.Most Spurs backers pounded them last night and will lay off game 6 completely and wait for the game 7 spread, not the ML.So if you bet the Spurs last night for $100, you have about $190 today. None of those spurs backers are taking a &#x2B;280 ML but they might take the points. If they take the points they get it at -110 and roll the entire roll over, you will profit more with about $360 vs. $325. But most bettors don&#x27;t roll over entire rolls. Hence, the series bet locks you in and does all the hard work.But even then the spurs can lose the next TWO games and you can take the spurs and still get inside the number both times winning two instead of one.But hen you can also lose game 6 by a ton and lose on that end.So there are many valid points as to why you shouldn&#x27;t take the series line and only a few as to why you should.Anyhow, 2.25-1 last night and 1.2-1 are both fairly insane for a Heat bettor to take in my eyes.

I feel good.I took Spurs b4 game 1 at &#x2B;180. &#xD;&#xA;1.) Heat are facing elimination. &#xD;&#xA;2) Spurs have already won @ Miami in an important game 1. That was a tell, not a throwaway.&#xD;&#xA;3) Game 2 was a throwaway (if you wanna call it that) and Coach Pop took out the starters in the 4th (same as game 5). Qtr by qtr Spurs are 9-10 (that&#x27;s counting 3 4th qrtrs w/o Spurs&#x27; starters--Heat coach rests his starters at the beg of the 4th), so basically even. Even? And I have &#x2B;180..&#xD;&#xA; I am not crying about "losing value" because a better price popped in there. So what? That&#x27;s just torturing y.s. Pointless.

I bet the Spurs for the series and bet the the Spurs every game thus far. I went .5u smaller after each Spurs win because of Miami being perfect after a loss, so in the event that the Spurs lose the series, I have already made enough during the series to pay for that bet and still be profitable. Should lebron or wade been injured & out for the series, game by game spurs backers woulda had no value at all.

game by game backers also miss out on the hedge opportunity created after game 3 - a pre-series spurs series play + a heat series play after game 3 = guaranteed no loss situation.

I bet on two of their wins and avoided their losses. I Won't bet either game 6 or 7. I try topick my spots rather than volume, it has served me well over the years. I can just relax as a fan and hope to see the Spurs slay the mighty Goliath.

I have to say this though, in the end, if Spurs win and you bet on them for the series, it really doesn't matter. $$ is $$
