why is Indiana only +500 for the series?

San Antonio only opened up are -120 for the series as well.

I predict Memphis and Miami to meet in the Finals but +100 and +500 were TERRIBLE odds for Indiana and Memphis backers to start.

Memphis is now +420 which is much better despite being down 0-2.

As far as Indiana, getting them at +500 is horrible value.  Why did Vegas set the series price so low?

I saw for Heat to win in 7 at +450 earlier. Would have to think pacers in 7 is above +800 easily

after the fact analysis? i made the post during the 1st quarter of game 1 with the pacers WINNING and my post was about them getting no value.

The value play of the 1st round was san antonio -120 even if you don't think they'll win.

I think memphis makes the finals so they are now worth making a play.

Indiana is not worth making a play on at that price because miami is the better team.  to me, they'd have to be +1500 for me to even consider them.

this miami team might sweep them and 5-1 odds is a joke.

pacers are +800 on pinnacle right now, by the way, and that is after it was adjusted when it first came out.

The real joke was this gassed Heat team being installed as such prohibitive favorites in the first place.  Talk about having their hands full.

They're only -315 now which is an even bigger joke.  Indiana has played their best for 2 games in months and Miami has played like the 2009 Cavaliers down the stretch.

What makes you think the Pacers are the better team besides their superior coaching and beefier post players?

Heat fans are hedging their futures bets and betting the Pacers.  How else could they only be +500?  

If the Heat win game 4, they are 99% to win the series

If the Heat lose game 4, they are still at least 85% to win the series.

I made this thread before Game 1.  The series prices for the Grizzlies and Pacers were way too low and people that backed them got the shaft all along.

Spurs -120 to win the series was the best line of the playoffs.

I would try and do a series bet on Pacers and spread bet on Miami hoping for an upset.  If Miami wins, you at least cover your money line wager.  If Miami wins and not cover, then you are in trouble.

If you already have a bet on the series, you obviously bet it with the anticipation that Indiana will win the series.  Why would you want to give up your edge to the books by diminishing the great game 7 moneyline of +500 or more?

Pacers +300
Heat -340

The Pacers were undervalued the entire series and were not worth making a play until before Game 6 when they were +800.

they had a good run but they werent good enough to win.  that's why i said all along it was a joke that they were only +500 to open the series.  shouldve been +1500

Miami was -145 to win the title before game 7 and now they opened an entire dollar higher at -250? i don't get it with the oddsmakers for the series prices for this playoffs
