Steph said that he was ready to go in game 5. Obviously that wasnt the case, he was hurting and it was evident in his play. He didnt play much at in the 4th quarter and I dont care that it was a blowout, down 18 with 5 min left? its possible, the spurs did it to GSW in game 1. I would love for my Warriors to win tonight, but with something wrong with Steph I can see the veteran Spurs closing us out.
Shum says that his poor shooting was not a result of his knee? Yeah right, thats BS of course it was. he went 0-6, something was obviously bothering him.
Martin has a wrist injury and JR is still sick, last game they obviously played like garbage.
Conclusion is this...dont believe the hype when players talk and explain why they didnt play well or whatever, simply put they will never make excuses and just push on. players are humans too and things affect them like they do with everyone else.
