Why did Vegas give away free money with Spurs -170 series after Game 2?

Posters on covers often claim that Vegas isn't stupid but to take a team that opened -800 to -170 in a tied series?  Anyone in their right mind would've slammed the Spurs at the extremely discounted rate.

What were the oddsmakers thinking?

Who said anything about betting on it? All I asked was why did they do it? you must've been one of the many posters that jumped on golden state +150 after they won game 2?
