This is amazing value in my opinion. Before the series started weren't the spurs like -800 at least? Now the warriors play a couple good games and people think Warriors have a shot at winning this series?
I don't buy into teams that live and die by shooting 3's. Klay and Curry have been playing out of their minds. I love Mark Jackson as a coach and it would be cool if the Warriors did actually make it to the finals, but Duncan, parker, ginoboli, popovich...the 2nd seed in the west spurs -160 vs the 6th seed barely any experience warriors??? Win or lose I think Spurs -160 is a gift.

It's definitely value and I think the Spurs are the better team still and as a fan hope they win but they've given me little hope that they're going to figure out Golden State in this series so it seems like a valuable loser to me. I hope I'm wrong and good luck.

I agree with you in a sense. Compared to openning line, Spurs stock is very low at this point and it's not worth betting GSW at this point considering you could have gotten +700 or so before the series, even though I believe the Warriors win the series. It's not a coincidence the Warriors were up 18+ pts in each of the first two games at SA. Even with Duncan, Parker, Ginobli and all..this is a bad match up for the Warriors. This isn't the same Spurs team and definitely isn't the same Warriors team of even the regular season. However. I know this series is far from over and I wouldn't count out SA like many seem to be doing at this time.

@kevmode: Be very careful getting sucked into a jump shooting team. This is not a temperamental Denver squad they are playing. It's sounds and looks easy to take the Warriors. It's far from that.

Why do you think the Spurs are better? The 1st round they played the depleted Lakers and now the Spurs are getting outplayed vs the Warriors. I don't believe in the Spurs at all, they are ovverated and old. I am not sucked into anything, the Warriors are playing great ball right now.

Experience, offensive scheme, players, coaching, etc.
At the moment Warriors look like the better team and are playing amazing, I am seeing the same thing you guys see. But experience is invaluable (so is inexperience when we are talking about GS), coaching and adjustments is huge, and taking low percentage shots like the warriors do won't win a series. How do you think Spurs got into such deep deficits? They got buried by Thompson and Curry's 3 pt runs. Spurs offense is fine, parker can get whatever he wants when he wants....they need to just keep curry or klay in check and they will beat these guys.

The Spurs are not better then the Warriors sorry. Thompson and Curry will continue to hit 3s in this series, nothing is going to slow them down. I am thinking Warriors win by 8 points tomorrow. Spurs have better coaching and thats about it. The Spurs do not have better players then the Warriors. The Warriors playing this great without Lee and Rush which is remarkable.

1) parker is a liability on defense. he cant guard parker or thompson. which means spurs will possibly have to use green on curry, leonard on thompson. but then where do you play parker? 2) spurs got outmuscled for 13 offensive rebounds, a few of those were key as spurs were trying to make a run 3) three point shooting was terrible 4) specifically shooting was terrible by ginobili 5) warriors are packing the paint, making it hard for the spurs to drive and penetrate (both parker and manu), forcing spurs to shoot mid range jumpers and threes. but the spurs jumpers were not falling in game 2, and for most of game 1 (until the comeback and overtime) 6) bogut has been effective vs duncan
what the spurs need to do:
- play a big guard line-up. give manu more minutes, and play a line up of manu, green, leonard, duncan and steven jackson....d'oh!! No steven jackson is hurting the spurs right now. - start hitting some fuckin shots -manu needs to play like a star, cuz so far he has shot like garbage in both games ( despite hitting the game winner)

That's like saying all you need to do to beat Miami is keep Lebron in check. Fact is, the Spurs have nobody that can cover Curry and Thompson. Curry can get his shot off at any time against anybody on the Spurs. Oh by the way, both can penetrate well and pass/score inside (though Klay's layups need serious work). These are two of the best shooters in the league, and I would say Curry is one of the best, if not the best, ever. Chances are the Spurs won't catch both on a off day in the same game.

Let me correct you in one thing: Klay and Steph are the best shooters in the league among KD and Carmelo. Those 4 are the best in the league.

I like Klay and Curry, but Klay is nowhere near a star. No doubt he is one of the best shooters in the league and definitely has the nicest shot. Watching both of them shoot is amazing. I'm just saying, Klay is not a superstar....you can stop this guy. He had so many open looks it was ridiculous. Spurs defensive rotation was a joke, you don't leave Klay open at all....you'll live with other guys making shots, but don't give Klay an open shot.
Pop will come up with something to slow these guys down. Maybe some full court pressure. Curry looks like he's playing in a pickup game shooting shots with 2 guys in his face...c'mon now, that's not good basketball regardless if he's making them or not. My hats off to GS so far though, they are playing confident and their entire team is playing outstanding. I still don't think they can beat the Spurs 3 more times.

OK, you want to stop Klay, then who is going to stop Curry? The two of them together cause match up nightmares, IMO, the only team that can effectively contain them are the Grizzlies. And if you think Curry's shots aren't good basketball and isn't sustainable, you haven't been watching him enough. He's done this all year. He made the most 3s ever in one season and did it at 45.3%, utterly insane numbers. Strangely enough, game 2 was one of his worst games in recent memory, yet the Warriors still dominated play.

Don't get me wrong. Klay is no superstar. And I think POP is the smartest and best coach in NBA history right next to Phil, but tell me sincerely that you think that POP didn't know that Klay can shoot like this for 2 games. POP is the master of preparations and he probably knew that Klay is amazing at shooting, Believe me, he did try to stop him, he just can't. Cause stopping him means leaving Curry open. And that you can't allow. Spurs is probably overrated, unfortunately. Pop know who to guard, his team just can't get the job done, and if it wasn't for a lucky shot by Manu they'd be down 2-0. So, in front of their crowd - the best one the NBA has to offer - you think GSW is stoppable against the Spurs? I wish it was the other way around, but GSW is currently too good for them. Everyone can shoot, wether it's Curry and Thompson or Barnes and Green.
I don't think POP didn't prepare his team for those kind of shooting performances, they just can't do anything about it.

Curry makes those tough shots all the time that is why he is the best shooter in the NBA. Curry shoots a high percentage form 3's and also at the free throw line. You are making it sound like those shots he hits are lucky or something. 45% from 3's along with 90% free throws. How are they bad shots when he is hitting 45% from 3's?
Spurs are not that good... What makes you think the Spurs are so great? Spurs beat injuried Lakers team which wasn't hard. Warriors beat a better team in the NUggets. Warriors are at home, man the crowd is going to be hyped and Warriors are going to ball very hard. My money will be on Warriors even though it is a public play.
