howdy gang, the odor from the sty is kind of sour today as i gave back all my winnings on the early game with a loss on the over last night in OKC...ahhhh well... if this was easy, it wouldnt be any fun. OK, here are my thoughts on tonights games.. first , logic would seem to indicate the losing teams would be highly motivated not to go home 0-2...and i am sure they are, but there are also 2 highly motivated teams determined not to surrender home court advantage...even with noah trying to play tonight, i have no clue how effective he will or can be, so i will take the nets and lay the pts.... and i think this goes over again, although the officials are slanted to the under.. in LA, i see a similar situation...chris paul is a far superior pt guard to mike conley, and i think paul will make sure the game is at a pace the clips prefer, forcing the grizzlies to keep up, much as in the first game... again, the officials are slanted to the under, but i am going over and laying the pts with the clips... an interesting way to play this game if you want to minimize juice and think the nets and clips win straight up is to make a ML parlay, which will pay you even money at the current money lines. this is better than making a two team 4 pt teaser because you dont have to play the juice, and get some slight value in the pick as opposed to - 1 1/2 in the teaser... i will be back later with some MLB thoughts if i find anything exciting.. feel free to comment or question anything you like. GL on all your plays and join us tonight at game time, as once again we journey on the never ending quest to TAKE THE MANS MONEY or, try to get ours back...

I think Thibodeau is too of a coach to not make some kind of adjustment. Noah being back should help the Bulls out rebound the Nets by 5-10 or so and should slow down Lopez some.
That being said, I don't trust the Bulls offense enough to cover, but it makes me like the under in this game.
As for Grizzlies/Clippers I'm just not sure on this one. Part of me wants to bet Memphis ML and the under, and part of me wants to slam the over. I'm having a very hard time capping this one.
Nets/Bulls under is my favorite play today though

my thoughts on the games i agree with the clippers play the guard play of clippers (CP3, billups, bledsoe, crawford) is far and beyond superior than the grizzlies guard play (conley, bayless, tony allen, pondexter?) and right now Zach Randolph is looking like a shell of his old self. also, blake griffin's minutes should be restricted with the sever back spasms that have been acting up, but to me this is a good thing because clippers play a more fluid offense with odom on the floor. I think clippers team total over 93.5 should be a good play as they will look to pour on the points early and end the game to give the starters some needed rest.
thoughts on the diamond for me is that philadelphia phillies are starting a AAA pitcher Jonathan Pettibone. In his 2 AAA starts this year, he has 1 loss gave up 15 hits and 12 runs in 9.1 innings. Phillies wanted Adam Morgan but he is on short rest so Pettibone will get the call on a limited pitch count. I think this could be a field day for the Pirates as they have hot bats recently, are coming off a morale boosting 3-1 series win over the Braves, and have AJ burnett on the mound facing the cold Phillies bats. I will probably play pirates F5 and TT o3.5

howdy mr pants...sorry we will be on opposite sides of this total... the bulls defense the last 6 weeks or so of the season just hasnt been what it was the first half of the season. the last 20 games they are 12-8 to the over.....noah, will play but that plantar fascitis is tough, the inflammation just seems to linger and the least bit of exertion, it comes back.. i have had to deal with it in my younger days, and i consider myself fairly tough physically, and it was hard to deal with... see you tonight buddy. GL with your other plays.

REDS ML and RL - heavy (just been feeling this play all day out of all the other games. even though the one time i did go with reds was the one loss to the marlins. many stats to back up why they will win but... anything can happen.)
INDIANS ML
Clippers over 181 ( fast pace clippers game and I see grizzlies chasing throughout the game hopefully alot of scoring from both teams I like clippers in this one but gonna wait on that.(2h) not messing with spreads tonight.
as far as bulls game they looked terrible first game.. and I dont know much about nets not messing with this one maybe 2h if we all see something that looks good.
best of luck tonight lets do what were all here to do get some money

Thanks, Pig, though I don't hold myself out to be any more knowledgeable than anyone else in this esteemed thread. Just a hunch that the A's will hit Doubront today though I've certainly been wrong in the past and will be in the future
