Detroit just played two of the fastest paced teams in San Antonio(sans Tim and Manu) and Milwaukee(sans Sanders). Not a lot of defense was played. Even with newly added Calderon, the final totals have been rather high for those 2 games. The Pistons have shot extremely well overall and from 3 point range. Monroe has beasted without Drummond playing and Charlie V. has had a resurgence. The Pistons, however, are not a diverse or talented offensive team.
Now they face a slow paced, seemingly tired New Orleans squad on a B2B. I don't think the Pelicans will want any part of a faster game tonight and the Pistons should follow suit. Calderon is methodical, not at all a fast pace PG.
Even though New Orleans' defense is terrible, I just don't see how this game has enough offense or possessions to go over tonight. Detroit is more efficient with Calderon, but they adapt to play to their opponent's style and don't really dictate pace.
I am on the under 196. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Hope Gordon sits. Much better for the under.
I remember some discussion on this forum when the trade involving CP3 and Gordon happened. There was some hesitancy about the value of that deal. There is no question now. Gordon is a cancer and will be, imo, his entire career. His leadership skills are null.
The Clips made a fantastic trade.

I see absolutely no reason for either team to play defense, unless it's close at the end. Rubio should enjoy running with Kyrie.
That being said, these are two of the worst shooting teams in the league. Minnesota can't hit the 3 ball; they are by far the worst 3 ball team in the NBA. Even copious volume may not make up for crap shooting. Who the F knows how these two squads will shoot? I certainly don't.
I have no firm opinion on the total, but would lean small on the over.
Good luck with your play, bro.

@mw My local will probably have it at 193.5 as well. I think the books might either be trying to catch a middle here or draw in more over bettors. Would you still play the under at 193.5?

I would. But it's your money. Be prudent.

You've been hot so why not. I'm putting it in a few parlays. Thx.
Don't be a mug. Play the line and be happy if it wins. Your approach means that if it loses all of your other bets lose.
Never ever put a 50% chance in more than one parlay unless you are supremely confident and have reason for this confidence. This play does not seem like one of those occasions. BOL....
