2-1 last night...wasn't even close on the UNDER in the Nets/Rockets game...I guess fatigue meant no defense and easier shots for both teams. Moving on to a GREAT Sunday of basketball

#2 Posted: 1/27/2013 11:45:12 AM Boston Celtics +4 (1.1 to win 1) Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics UNDER 187.5 (1.1 to win 1)
First play is about the line movement. Everybody and their mother is on the Heat in this game thanks to the Celtics 6 game losing streak. In their last game vs. Atlanta, they looked like champions of the world in the first half...then figured they could rest up for this game against the Heat, forgetting that there actually still was another half of basketball. Clearly they have been looking forward to this game. As far as the UNDER is concerned...it's an early Sunday game and for the Celtics to win or at least cover, it needs to be a slow game. Avery Bradley will be Ray Allen's personal body suit today...and the Rondo/Wade matchup is always entertaining. Pierce generally plays alright against LBJ, but Pierce has been inconsistent on both ends of the court in the past couple weeks, so I expect LBJ to get what he wants.
Prediction: Celtics 92 Heat 90

#4 Posted: 1/27/2013 11:48:32 AM Oklahoma City vs. LA Lakers UNDER 206.5 (1.1 to win 1)
Another early Sunday game (12:30pm PST) here. Lakers should absolutely embrace the Kobe as a point guard scenario. It worked absolutely brilliantly last game against the Jazz. Have him take the ball up, work the other guys into the game, take shots when he needs to take shots. Hell, I would even go as far as to have Steve Nash come off the bench to give Kobe a breather. Then they can run all over the court and not wear out their best player!! Biggest reason for the UNDER in this one besides the early Sunday factor would be the fact that the first two matchups hit 222 and 217 respectively...and now the total is only at 206? It will be close, but I say it stays under.
Prediction: Thunder 101 Lakers 98

#6 Posted: 1/27/2013 12:33:30 PM If the line is set at 4...and 60-70% of the bettors are on Miami...why would they drop it down to 3.5 to get MORE people on that side?

#17 Posted: 1/27/2013 4:05:39 PM What gets me the most is they freaking scored only 12 in the 1st OT, so the under would still pass, too bad it was still 93-93.

#23 Posted: 1/27/2013 5:04:34 PM Sorry to hear about Rondo, CM. He's my favorite PG in the league and he might have played his last game with Pierce and KG
Doris Burke is a B I T C H....... can't believe how irresponsible she was for breaking the news to pierce in the post game interview, when it was clear the team wasnt notified yet... just classless
