well that recipe has produced some delicious deserts for me this year..Its -10 everywhere, but my guy is at -10.5..Waiting to wager...

I am looking at this game as well. I have some things this am. Going bowhunting this afternoon and will probably wait until this evening before I make a play. Snowed here yesterday but it has already melted.

Thats freaking awesome man.....funny you said on the ground cause I do the same thing with WhiteTails.  I don't like being in a treestand.  And its allot harder when your on the ground you know. We have some huge bucks on my land and we only have 2 more weeks until the season ends.  I already got an 8 pt this and have been passing up some good ones lately.  There is a 12 pt around 160 class Pope and Young I am after.  If I was rifle hunting he would have been dead since last year.  I haven't rifle hunted in 10 years or so....its not a challenge.  But it gets my blood pumping when a deer gets within 10 yards of me and all I have is a bow...and I have had some bucks charge at me several times...I love it.

How bout it..Bow Hunting Bear from the ground is terrifieing because if you miss or don't hit em right..Somebodies gonna die. And your right next to him..I still don't let my kids do it- I get Bears in the yard (67acres) everynight...Mule deer and Elk are everywhere..Lots of Turkeys, mountian lions and even had a Moose once. I also have two ponds stocked with trout I catch around here, Rainbows, Browns, Cutthroats, Brookies...

O I know....freaking Bears man...thats something I would like to do.  The only thing around here like that are coyotes.  We actually do have some Black Bears mostly along the river but you cannot hunt them.  Also we have Cougars but they are few and far between.

They say Bears dn't get much over 300 pounds around here but I've seen 500 pounders for sure..In my garage..And not to far from here they found a half eaten guy...The door of his camper was ripped off and it was ridled with bullet holes..He tried to kill it as it was comin in..But it still got him...that was about 8 years ago..
