#1 Posted: 6/5/2012 4:11:25 AM Don't be fooled by what happened tonight....James Harden made the shot of his career and OKC kept their poise and avoided the same fate as game 1; they say a series doesn;t begin until the home team loses....well here we go....Popovich will make some adjustments and I believe the Spurs will win game 6 and then history will be on the Spurs side to win game 7 at home.......GAME 6 ML SA SPURS...will not need any points at all...glta

Hmmm.... It's been 3 games... How much more "adjustments" does Pop need?
James Harden? I don't know about the exact stats, but it seems Harden has gone 9/10 three pointers in the last two minutes of the game in this series.. i.e. game 2, useless three pointers nearing the end of the game. I lost big on that stupid three by Harden.
And again, I don't know about the exact stats, but I'm pretty sure he's around 70-80% FG in the fourth quarters in this series.
He's definitely legit. It's the beard. Believe it. |

#13 Posted: 6/5/2012 7:50:18 AM You know how many times I have heard 'Popovich will make adjustments'.. like he's an accountant?
He's had a few games to make those and made to look like a fool. Where has frenchie gone this series? |

Please tell me why Stern would prefer having the Spurs in the finals over a matchup of his most marketable young guys (Lebron vs Durant).
I hope you're right, but sadly think OKC runs them out of the gym tomorrow.

#16 Posted: 6/5/2012 9:34:40 AM I like to see Spurs in the finals but Popovich seems to run out of his 'nasty' tricks. Game 5 was a must win for them but they lost it. |

#17 Posted: 6/5/2012 9:52:36 AM trying to rationalize the game 5 loss based on Harden's "shot of a lifetime" is a bit absurd... the Spurs were getting their fools handed to them the entire game... that shot just locked it up... and if he had missed it, they were still up by 2 and there is definitely nothing to suggest SA was a lock to win it at that point...
you're grasping for straws, if you ask me... OKC has their number, and i think SA is in big trouble in game 6...

#18 Posted: 6/5/2012 10:12:57 AM I like how confident this jnemeh is about SA.. but let's be real here... OKC been in WCF two years in a row.. and they do not want to repeat the same result.. it is clear that they want to win this series.. everyone is doing their part..
Adjustments are done.. Nasty time is done.. and whatever Puns these SA fans are saying are no longer relevant. Let's just say that SA had a good playoff run.. but OKC.. shows they have the bigger guns.. |

#19 Posted: 6/5/2012 10:43:31 AM This is not the same San Antonio team years ago, when Pops can rely on defense (Bowen and Co.); when their Big3 were younger (Tony, Manu, Timmy); when Robert Horry is still a Spur and was hitting big shots from everywhere.
It's time to pass the throne to the much younger (and clutch) OKCity squad.

If you've seen the script, name the teams. Teams up 3-2 rarely lose the series, including young teams.
I doubt you can name 3 teams that have done it.
Far more young teams have won the series when up 3-2 than lost the series. |

#24 Posted: 6/5/2012 12:30:57 PM the oddsmakers already tipped their hand... 10 point swing in the spread from last game..not your normal home court adjustment. spreads were 3.5 and 4 first 2 in okc. mighty spurs going night night. |
