Let's be realistic. San Antonio's stars are old. Sure, the new guys have been playing well, but without the big three, this team is going nowhere.
With that in mind, they are playing a back-to-back on the road. This doesn't bode well for fatigued, old bodies.
I don't think the Clippers are a great team, but I do think this is a great spot for them. I wouldn't be surprised if Poppovich limits the minutes of his main guys, because this series will be over in 5 at the latest.
I'll take the Clippers on the moneyline

u know sas has won 17 straight? and none of those was even close. if they want to win they will win easily, and i dont think they lose 1Q by 22 again so it will be even easier. why would pop limit minutes?
if they win tonight, they dont play game 5 so they play much less minutes + get more rest.
+ if NHL game goes OT this game will start at around 11:30 ET. and last night was a day game (3:30) so its like 1 day rest.

I love how people still bet against the spurs and say they are old. 17 in a row. Clippers suck and blew a huge lead yesterday I'm sure they will have a good game today down 3-0. Yeah right

0-3. You gotta wonder about motivation. They Clips know they're cooked, they gave their best shot yesterday and choked do they really want to fly back to SA to lose or just finish it up tonight and get summer break going?
I think the B2B on the Spurs is a valid point too but I don't think they're getting the Clips best game so I'd imagine SA covers but it's a no play for me.

Wowwww, they are old, OK. They are playing on the road, OK. They are playing back to back, OK. The back to back really doesnt concern me, especially when they know if they knock these bums out tonite, they can relax for a couple of days. It would not make sense for POP to rest any players, IMO. Why do that when they can close the deal tonite and not have to play GAME 5. Im not going to overthink this, like I said yesterday, CLIPS are overrated, out of their league right now, these bums want this over as well. SAS will close these bums out tonite with no problem.

The old talk and ML shit - well if it were not the NBA i'd say your crazy. Just taking. That said I'd be totally surprised to see anyone lay good money (of size) on the LA box.
.....unless they knew something, and we all know that kind of stuff is make believe.

No way SAS will lose tonite. The game they would of lost was Game 3. It was a must win for LAC. Seeing it close and LAC +6.5/7/7.5 whatever spread is as of now may be a good play but clip ml is insane. Wouldn't do it with your momma's money

Clippers might win but your reasoning is actually against it. Wouldn't Pop rather finish them off (more rest for the team) instead of limiting the minutes for few??

well --- after what the fuck happened yesterday in the 1qrtr-- and then SAS laying the hammer on the 3rd to LAC 2 things happened
1.- Clippers are just demoralized, and had a back to reality check 2.- SAS will want not only to win ASAP but to destroy the clippers, to avoid giving them any sort of hope or having them hangin around 3.- definitely Spurs dont want a 5th game now that LAL choked yest and OKC might close it on monday 2 days rest is golden 4.- dont expect the clippers to win the lottery again and have a 1st qrtr performance like yest---in fact they will come out with the tents folded and packed in already
