Been on a roll. Thought I would share.
Watched Philly shock the world as a +1100 dog beat the East leading #1 seed. Talk about 1 time lucky. Watched a few of the games and boy were some of them brutal. A few 20 something quarters. Obv w rose and Noah out bulls lacked the scoring to eventually prevail. The one thing I noticed in the series is that even when rose and Noah the start of the game was always competitive. Covering 4 of 6 1st qtr. And eventually winning the series outright. Woo hoo! Bring on the celts.
Game 1 fresh off an emotional series win they come out like gang busters and punched the celts right in the kissa. They ran all over the more rested,much older, more experienced celtics. They won game 1 1st qtr 28-18. In game 2 I expected the celtics to be more inspired to start fast, Doc knows how to inspire. They didn't outright win the 1st qtr but they did cover.
Now we come into Game 3. My numbers have Philly winning the game by 5.5. I could see this happening but I believe the celtics are a scrappy bunch that have a way of hanging around. I defiantly see this series going seven. But I also believe this 1st game home after stealing 1 in Boston is gonna have the younger and faster guys charged up. Add in the home crowd a pickem is a bargin. There is some extra juice on it but I feel confident in a lead after the 1st.
