Let me tell you why I love the NBA and its marketing.
They know heading into the playoffs that cramming a team down your TV throat is good for their pockets and ratings.
The public got to see ALOT of the KNICKS on TV winning in the past weeks. Which gives joe public a false sense of reality.
People the Knicks are barely above .500 for the entire season.
The comments the Knicks can beat anyone make me laugh.
Miami is being disrespected by the public in Round 1. They know it.
They hear it. They read it.
Ny will be lucky to win 1 game.
Defense wins championships NY HAS NONE.

Show me one analyst that picked Miami to lose in the first round.  You are clueless bro.  The public?  You don't know what the darn you're talking about.  The only reason why 57% are on the Knicks tomorrow is because they are catching 8.5 points.  If the spread was pk what % do you think would be on the Heat.  I'd say a whopping 90%.

Which of these 12 analysts picked the Knicks?  Half of them don't even think the Knicks will win more than 1 game in this series.  Stop with this bullshit.

It's people like you that flood these threads with bullshit when quite frankly you don't have a clue how to tie your own shoes, let alone cap a game.

And the reason why the Knicks are getting love is because they actually give a darn under Woodson and have been playing defense.  They're 18-6 under Woodson.  I think the Heat will win this series comfortably, but the hype for the Knicks definitely is warranted by the way they have been playing under Woodson.  If you don't think this team has been playing defense, you clearly don't watch them.

Good stuff.

You ever wonder just why the ref assignments aren't made yet?  For the Super Bowl, World Series, you name it, you know who's reffing-based on ability/skill.

Knicks just lost all the momentum they had when Amare came back. Melo was killin it playing the 4. Now, Melo gonna get less shots and be less aggressive. I like Miami -9.

Isn't Tyson Chandler one of the favorites to win the Defensive POY award?  I agree with PapaShango as far as Joe Public loving the 8.5 points rather than believing they can actually beat the Heat in this series.

Knicks with WOODSON = Defense

KNICKS with WOODSON + AMARE = Defense is compromised.
