Miami Heat -3, laying $100 to win $100 -- D'Wade is Probably, yet this line is at 2.5 at most places...I am shocked really...I haven't looked at what the public is on because it doesn't matter...This is one of those games where there is only one side to play...Miami...And I hate Miami, believe me...I LOVE OKC's team...I hope they win it all this year...But when you are a handicapper, you have to be neutral and put all likes and dislikes aside...This is pretty much a short-revenge spot (for me a short-revenge spot is a week or less, but cripes so this one is 10 days since they last played) and this is a strong spot historically...ESPECIALLY when elite teams are involved and ESPECIALLY when one elite teams hammers the other elite team the last time out...OKC beat Miami by 16...The Heat basically quit in the final minutes of that Nationally televised game...And I don't care how easy it was for the OKC offense in that game as they shredded Miami...It won't be easy this time around...The last game was a STATEMENT game for OKC and they made their statement...Now this one is a STATEMENT game for the Heat...OKC won Round 1...The Heat have a chance to answer and just 10 days later while that loss is fresh in their minds...OKC fired the first salvo 10 days ago and the Heat will fire their salvo tonight...You don't need stats and any other trends to look at here...Sure, I would have LOVED to have seen OKC beat Memphis last time out so they weren't coming off a loss, but that doesn't matter...All that does is make me not call this a Game of the Year, but to me, it's still a strong play...Wade sat out last night for a REASON...Sore knee?...Ok, I am sure it is sore...But he wanted THIS GAME...The Heat have throttled the 76ers for 2 years straight now, there was no need for Wade to play last night...There was no statement to be made against Philly...Wade rested last night to be at fullstrength TONIGHT... If you don't like the Heat in this spot, don't bet the game...There is only one side to take in this one...
Indiana/Washington Over 194, laying $100 to win $102 -- Another great spot here...Lot of things aligning just right here...These teams just played 2 weeks ago at Conseco and it stayed Under...Not by a lot, but it did, but Nene played in that one...Nene has missed the last 2 games and look at what has happened (which leads me right into the main reason for betting this one)...Kevin Seraphin (yeah, I know -- who??) stepped into Nene's starting position 2 games ago...That game finished under the total by 1 point, to take the Wizards streak to 11 straight unders...And the streak finally ended 2 nights ago vs. MILW as a 210 was put up...So one of the longest Under streaks in my database came to an end, so this is a big-time chart-play to the Over now that the streak is snapped...But chart-plays are not end-alls for me making a confident play...This change at center with Nene out is big for me, too....Nene is one of the better shot-blockers in the league, so there goes the Wizards' defensive presence out of the middle...Seraphin has zero blocked shots in the last 2 games...Zero...But he is scoring points...8-for-14 and 16 points vs. Toronto and 7-for-14 for 15 points vs. Milwaukee...Indy's 4th game in 5 days, so this could be the "tired legs equals Overs" spot for the Pacers as long as they don't deliberately slow the Pace down...Indy is 6-2-1 to the Over in back-enders, although their last Over was OT-aided...

Agreed and the over is a good play because the Wizards' coach admitted they might have been fatigued the other night. I don't see how they'll suddenly be fresh.
