@dopeismarcus - Maybe they can if Amare Melo and Chandler blends well with Lin.

@doug68 Lin haters? . I think they're gone. But they'll be back soon if Lin those something wrong.

Unfortunately, they will have a lot to criticize about tomorrow. They downplayed his abuse by Calderon because of the game winning shot. It looks like Lin requires a lot of help defense tonight. If Sac could hit some shots, it would expose how bad of a defender he is.

The announcers are even noticing how he's not boxing out, just running with guys and not getting physical with them, and he just kinda looks out of it tonight. 

Only 6 points at the half. I think he can make storylines again tomorrow if he can get 15+ assists. D'antoni sat him for a pretty long time though. like 7-8 mins of the first half. Might not need him to do too much more tonight.

Come on, let's be fair even Lin helps NYK so much, but compare to the best in the east still have a distance.

Is 13 assists enough to keep Linsanity going? Think last night's game was hard to beat. 

I think at this point we expect Lin to get 20 and 8ish. Despite the assists, it feels like a fail game for him.

Wouldn't go that far. He still has a long way to go. But I'm betting my whole fortune that Lin would be an All-Star next year.

If it wasn't for the turnovers he'd be pretty unreal. He doesn't have to score 25+ points ever night but if he can get 12 points 8+ assists and lower his TO's then he would be a solid solid player. Still very impressive so far.

It's funny these Tebow comparisons. They are polar opposites.

Tebow was a polished college QB who was a first round draft pick and a fan favorite from the beginning. Tebow is known for starting off slowly, playing crappy til crunch time, then winning the game. The biggest compliment on Tebow was that he DOES NOT turn the ball over. 

Lin was undrafted, and unknown. Lin starts games off quickly, but turns the ball over more in the second half and tails off due to fatigue. Despite the big stats lines, Lin's biggest knock is he DOES turn the ball over, a lot. 

Tebow's run was more magical in my opinion though. Because he kept winning the games single handedly, and late. Also more time to spread between games. Lin has played like 7 games in a week and a half, and people are probably starting to get Linned out soon.

Lol ok, Denver's defense bailed out Tebow numerous times and Prater bailed out the Broncos. Tebow blows in the 1st 3 quarters like a hooker.

i'm a fan of tebow but he won them single handedly!? lol, does tebow play defense?

Tebow was a POLISHED OPTION QB, with NFL talent around HIM.

HE never had correct throwing motion, his wind up is hard to look at.


Denver had an amazing defense, plus they restructured their offense to accommodate Tebow. HIs own coach was quoted "If was had to run a regular nfl offense we'd be screwed".

One thing they both have in common the are BOTH like able guys, but that's about it. 

Knicks lost 11 out of 13, before he came in, now 7 wins in a row, all him? NO, but he brings a TEAM together.

Knicks were just a bunch of over paid stars who really didn't mesh, look at their defense with MELLO OUT! TO a point Amare is a defensive liability, but he is a TEAM player. 

Knicks are NOW DINING out together, coming together as a team. 

I wish people would stop the race thing, regardless of his race he was undrafted, cut by two teams mainly due to money, then knicks scooped him up, he's the 4th point guard, due to injury ... he gets a shot...

This is a feel good story, on the biggest stage, How can anyone not be happy for the guy, in the day over over hyped over paid players who just have this "entitlement" ego, this is very refreshing. 


Only thing that can make this fail is MELLO.

For those saying today's game is a regression or a let down you got to be a hater or dont know the game of bbal.

10-5-13 on only 6 shot attempts with a game that was pretty much over by 1st. Qrt are still solid stats.

As for the people crying about TOs compare his stats to the top PGs that played tonight

TO is overrated
