This is more of an FYI thread, but I guess I'll start tracking this season with a fresh record of 0-0.
Bucks landed in-town around 1:30am this morning. S-Jax even threw a party on arrival (see pic: https://www.theusualsuspectstoronto.com/webevents/images/2012_02_07.jpg) No confirmed photos yet, but should this have gone down I would think the Raptors will have a definite advantage. They are on a days rest with the Bucks on an obvious B2B after a comeback victory against the Suns.
Raptors took the Heat down to the wire on Sunday when the spread was 16, and covered Monday against the Wizards after being down nearly 20 points going into the 4th. They still almost won the game.
Line is -2.5 Bucks but I'm actually not sure why.
Pick: Raptors +2.5
I think there is also alot of value in going with a reverse line of Raptors -1.5 for +135
....I just hope Demar wasn't at the party last night as him and Jennings are close, lol.
BOL for those that are playing this game, regardless of what side you're on.

Anyway, only thing pushing my back is that the Raps aren't that good defending good PG, and Jennings definitely qualifies. Lets hope he's tired from the party last night.

Chitownnodawg: lol, at least you have taste. I never been or even heard of Vogue and I club quite a bit.
BunchOfApes: Going good man. I'm certain Casey will go with the 2 guard lineup of Jose and Bayless, with Bayless guarding Jennings. If he can do an okay job, which he has as of late, I think the Raps should be okay. My xfactor in this is Ilyasova as he always seems to torch the Raps. I also expect DD to come out gunning if he's in the SF spot being guarded by Delfino. They need a good start to this 7 game homestand.

the fact that the bucks lost to the suns discredits the write up a bit. what about the fact that the bucks own the raptors of late. btw, i lean toronto. like the way kleiza and bay less are playing.

Initially was leaning bucks here. However, raps always pick it up 2nd half and make crazy last second comebacks.
They were down like 15 pts to the jazz last week going into the 4th quarter and made a crazy run to send it to overtime and eventually win the game in double OT.
Also, I feel like Bargniani being injured for this extended period of time has helped the Raptors grow as a team and develop their squad quite nicely.
This is not to take away anything from the Bucks who have been up and down this season by surprising many Great teams usuaully on the road. But I also noticed that the Bucks play good teams better than they play mediocore or under-rated teams. I mean, theres just no excuse to be trailing PHX by 10-20 points for most of the game.

i think this game can be tricky. what about ist qaurter or half ? rapters is the worst 1st quarter team now, 19.5 pts. maybe a little bit higher at their homeside, but they have been disaster in 1st quarter. so easy money i have took so far.

d0pebo1: Agreed. Bargs injury has helped this team figure out some things. Kleiza's breakout on Monday was needed as they are suffering large at the SF spot, although JJ has come around as of late also. Same with Bayless who has been very consistent, and has taken pride in defending the opposing team's star guard. Your 2 picks look solid also.
duranizm: If I was still using my previous book that supported quarter bets, I would have slammed Raptors 1st quarter Under every game this season, lol. It has been absolutely money, along with the opposing team +/- spread. As far as half bets, I agree with gg408, Mil 1H, but I'd then roll with Raps for the 2H (assuming the Raps are down at halftime.) BOL

nice to see some t.o ppl on the forum, as for my take , this ones a toss up , the buck are clearly the better team , on the road they seem to hang with the best but ignore the rest, however looking at this match up in the past the bucks have absolutely owned the raps the last couple of years and that was with bargs playing for them. however 2 factors to consider the back to back situation for the bucks especially if they indeed party last night and second coach casey will have them fired up to play at home tonight after ripping into his team after the wizards debacle. that being said its still the raptors and i still dont trust them to win anything however the bucks cant defend and i doubt they be eager too as fatigue always leads to sloppy defense , and the raps as much as they say theyre about defense now they can still give em up, and if theye gonna win there gonna have to score more so id say over is the play here
