Are referees betting on games?

I am at a complete loss of explantion why games are being officiated completely differently in 2 halves of ball.

This clipps game, hardly any fouls called in the first 20 mintes of the first half, then all of a sudden, if a player looks at another player, it is a foul........

Are refs calling games to suit there bets? Donaghy did, so why not these guys?

1st qtr

memphis 2 fouls, Clippers 2 fouls.

2nd qtr

Memphis 6 fouls, Clippers 5 fouls

Already in the 3rd qtr, fouls have exploded.

It easy so easy for a ref to bet, or tell his family and friends to bet 1st half under, 2nd half over and it wont raise an eye brow,....

before anyone says anything, how do you know there isnt another Donaghy reffing right now?

Every 10 seconds there is a foul called.

Simple, before the ref leaves the house, tells a family friend to hit second half over very hard , "i will get teams in the bonus and points will flow"...

I just find it very hard to find a plausable explanation, why there was hardly anything called in the first half, then all of a sudden, bang....

It wasnt like that at all in the first half........And they are playing the same....

Doesnt this ring an alarm in people, or are people that hooked?

I didnt see it mate.......But if everyone thinks this NBA is all above board they have there head buried in the sand.

I dont think TEAMS LOSE on purpose, absolutely very much doubt it........Really dont think so.

But i have no doubt, margins and total points are tampered with by refs and players......again, i think losing on purpose is a sacred cow (no one goes there), but no doubt, spreads are tampered with,

Yeah agree, i dont think all the time and i definitly dont think teams lose, very very doubtful, but from a totals and spread perspective where it doesnt hurt the result, i have no doubt at times, refs, players and families give there back pocket a little help.
