Sat 05/07 Boston Celtics -3
Yes,
I'm 0-2 backing the Celtics so far in this series but I like this
situation tonight and expect them to grab a win and a cover in game 3.
First of all, they're playing with 4 days of rest. This helps the Celts
more than the Heat. Miami had/has the momentum and a longer layoff
usually tends to potentially negate that. Boston. on the other hand,
has a chance to rest up and get healthy. Second of all, they're getting
Shaq Dizzle back. Sure he probably won't be very effective but it's
another big body to take up space down low. Even if he makes LeWade
"think twice" about driving to the basket a couple of times, and instead
settle for jump-shots, Shaq's job has been done. Third of all, this is
still the Celtics team that beat Miami 3 out of 4 games during the
regular season and both times in their meetings in Boston. Sure
Perkings is gone now, but I still feel this team has enough to compete
here and get a crucial home victory.
Miami is a very good team
but they're not a 'perfect' team. In round 1 against Philly they lost
one on the road against the Sixers and won the other one, which came
down to the wire. This team might seem invincible, but they're not as
dominant on the road (no team really is). This is truly Boston's
'SUPERBOWL' and I expect them to respond.
Good luck!

Was hoping you'd be on the Celts...unlike the Lakers, I actually think they won't go out quietly....Shaq baby, I really think his presence will make a difference tomorrow.

hey Bodio, I love memphis -2.5...They are the better defensive team, especially at home. This game should come down to the wire like game three of dallas/lakers game. Your thoughts on Memphis would be appreciated?

I like you backing up Celtics. we are the same 0-2 on celts I am thinking of not betting on celts.
I love the grizz line though. any thoughts master bodio?
Passing on that one. I feel both teams match up really well together and it will be a very tight game that might come down to the end. The OVER also has to be considered but I primarily like betting on the UNDERS in the playoffs, so that one is a pass for me as well

Hmm..If you think this one will come down to the wire, then why bet on it? Obviously if you think it's 50/50 with each team having a chance to win in the end, passing might be a better option.
I just don't have a very good feel fro this game as I think both teams match-up well. In all actuality, I think this one will come down to the wire so for me it's a pass

even tho i expressed how much i hate layin it on the c's i think this is a smart play...and this should be the last play on the c's for the season since this is prolly the only game left that they have a chance at winning/covering with confidence

and i also wanted to add that this NBA season was in a way historic, in one season we have pretty much witnessed the end of several "era's"...the spurs...the celtics...and now the lakers!! look at the way this season started with all 3 teams moving along rather nicely...with neither one getting any seed less then a number 3...spurs and lakers holding 1 and 2 respectively....then to see that ALL 3 are basically gonna be out within 2 rounds...maybe iam missing something, but i cant remember the last time this many league powers have fallen in a single season..the younger stars are really taking over!
