Does anyone have any reasoning behind team totals going over on this particular day?

The home teams usually control the tempo of the game.

Lets say the home team is the weaker team. For example Toronto Raptors playing at home versus the Miami Heat.

In this case. On Wed. Toronto comes into the game seriously wanting to win the game SU. Thus Toronto will keep imposing their will and keep scoring buckets. Now since the road team is the better team they have no problem matching bucket for bucket.

Thursday is league-wide travel day. Perhaps they leave it all on the floor at times and hop on a plane.

Bangladesh butter is a legitimate reason.  I'm serious.  Google it.

Sometimes the "legitimate reason" is there is no legitimate reason.

"Statistically significant" only means that theres a 1 in 20 chance of something happening purely by chance but if you look at 100 completely random things, you're going to have 5 "statistically significant" things happen purely by chance.

I'm pretty sure that if you looked at each day of the month, you'd find one day where the numbers were historically significantly higher than the others.  That wouldn't mean anything really.

Google Bangladesh butter.  Its a good story and the moral of the story applies directly to this.

But isn't funny how some DAYS favor the OVER(ie fridays) and some  days all games go UNDER.

I would not be surprised that NBA brethren have an unspoken "decorum" to this theory???? WTF, they are PRO athletes, what DO YOU really expect from them?

Professionals They are "all in" for the nightly fix, that's why you keep them CLOSE to the "vest" Inside "info" comes pretty handy when you know players on a "personal" BASIS

Always a full sched on Weds. Common sense. Sun and Mon are always slow cuz players are tired from the weekend and week, more emphasis on defence. Tue and Wed are over days, teams pick it up, full sched. Thu 2 games. Fri and Sat usually over bound. Also consider indiv. team travelling and motivation
