I've been having some friendly discussions with some of my friends and business associates in Toronto. Some are actually asking is James will get a worst welcome then Vince Carter in his return to Toronto? Are you kidding me? Of course he will. Vince Carter quit on his team, he admitted he quit on national television, he asked for a trade and was traded. James was Ohio, he was Akron, he was the city of Cleveland. He came into the league as an 18 year old and "matured" for 7 years as a Cavalier. He stabbed Cleveland in the back, not the heart, in the back. The Decision....was the most ludicrous, disgusting thing that any professional athlete could have done to their home team. When Vince came to Toronto, we all knew he was going to get the welcome he deserved, but there were never any concerns of violence towards him. Tonight in Cleveland, its quite possible James could literally get stabbed. I am not kidding. You should hear about the security measures that are in place for this game. This is by far the most anticipated 18th game in NBA regular season history. Hell it is the most anticipated non game 7 in NBA history. I am lucky to say I was a part of every single game that Vince played in Toronto as a member of the Nets. The atmosphere is out of this world. The problem lies when it comes to betting games like this. The crowd acts as a 6th man for the home squad for sure, however the hostility and ambiance also tends to help the visiting team as well. Wade, Chris and his royal highness will find solace in silencing the crowds tonight. Bright lights and money can tend to sway today`s youth in any direction, in my opinion James made a big mistake. His legacy will never be the same. I heard that the fans of Cleveland have specific chants setup throughout the game. I think it would be brilliant if they went through with some of them, I think ``Akron hates you`` to the tune of the let`s go Cleveland would really hit home to James. It will admittedly be a very emotionally draining day for James. Despite what some idiotic Toronto fans think, this type of game is unprecedented. It has never happened before. Jordan returning in Indiana was different, Vince`s return to Toronto was different. This had never before been seen in the history of the NBA. Thus, it would be silly to wager on this game. I will be rooting for Cleveland, I think this means more to guys like Mo Williams, Boobie, V and other then you realize. Listening to Williams it seems like he was never told what was going to happen by James, no one on the roster found out until we did. That has gotta sting, they realize this game means more to their city then any other game this season so they will come out with intensity, anger, poise and gusto and fight until the end. However, once again, the atmosphere will not only fuel the Cavs, but also the Heat. I guess I would feel the Cavs around + 7, maybe the over as I think this may be on the higher side in scoring. Also some props on LBJ look tempting, over 0.5 blocks, maybe over points for him and Dwayne, but why bet on this unprecedented matchup when we can sit back and enjoy history. I cannot remember the last time I was more exited to watch an NBA regular season game in my 18+ years of watching this game. In the illustrious history of this sport, no one can compare another game to the one that is about to tip-off shortly. Grab some friends, a spliff, some johnny walker blue label, some pizza and wings, and enjoy history in the making. I love this game. Peace out, Mak.

Should be an exciting game. The hype is definitely there and the atmosphere is definitely going to be intense. Going to sit back and let this one play out on its own Cheers bud

Mak - funny you made the Vince Carter connection because I was about to come out and equate the Lebron James situation with what Vince Carter did to Toronto.
