1) The first time the new Miami team to be seen together.
2) Unlike LA Lakers who play overseas with their leader going 0-3 FG and hardly caring, this team has three leaders and at least one of them will bring it 110% since American Airlines Arena is 'His House'.
3) I'd imagine the line might even go to -10 or -9.5 because of what Minnesota is doing to the LA Show right now. I hope T'Wolves win by 25.
Taking the Heat now at -10.5 and adding more if it's at -9.5 at gametime.

I doubt those three will get any kind of major time.
Don't forget it's still pre-season... I don't think many people would be pleased if one of the star players tore his ACL or something else major before the season began.
Why these three do play I imagine they would treat it like an all-star game or something. Probably going to try to do too much with their egos and it will work against them.
Detroit also has a pretty deep bench with a lot of rookies looking to prove themselves.

The 'other side of things' worked out well yesterday, in a neutral venue game where Kobe had zero impact if we ignore selling tickets. And today I full expect the Detroit scrubs to get pounded in the first half by wade/james/bosh in the first half and jones/house/arroyo in the second.

Not sure that Hamilton, Prince, Wallace, Stuckey and Gordon are scrubs. Lets add Villanueva, McGrady, Summers and this years 7th pick in Monroe and others. I don't think this will be a blowout in anyway. This is the first preseason game it means nothing to their record.

Ok I'll just bet Detroit at +11.5 at gametime and root for a 90-79 scoreline

Detroit is the deeper team which could mean the difference in this one. miami's first game together and you know they wont be playing defense, i am a pistons fan and from everything i have heard they have a chip on their shoulders ready to prove they arent as terrible as they were last year. i'm leaning detroit but you may very well be right who the hell knows its the preseason

My three bets here after all as said and done, are as follows:
1) 200/190 Miami -10.5 2) 300/270 Detroit +11.0 3) 100/96 Under 194.5
Pretty much a U-turn from what I wrote earlier. Need a lot of Rick Hamilton bricked jumpers. And then some more of those from the Cleveland Decision Maker.
