I don't care what you saw in the regular season. Playoffs are a different story.. They should take the Heat in 5 or 6. 


If not, then I lose.

What we saw in the regular season is the Celtics beating the Heat i think in all 3 games played...

The Kevin Garnett that used to dominate this league on both ends of the floor is............... NOT WALKING THROUGH THAT DOOR.

An old Celtics team is still better than this Heat team. The run the Heat had the last few weeks was overrated. They beat teams like Indy, Knicks, Nets, Sixers for Christ-sakes so don't tell me they are HOT coming into the playoffs.

Because they have Dwayne Wade who is by far the best player in this series.  How many times have the Celtics choked and gone completely cold in the fourth quarter at home since January?  All Miami has to do is find a way to be within striking distance going into the last ten minutes and Wade should take over from there.  The Celtics don't get stops and make shots down the stretch like they used to.  And Paul Pierce isn't nearly the late closer he once was.  I'll concede this Miami roster is nothing special but they don't have to be great against this aging Celtics team.  Aside from a clear disadvantage at point guard, I don't see any glaring match-up problems for the Heat here.

Yes, and it's not even close.  Rasheed has been a disaster all year long.  As if all the lazy defense and bricked threes weren't bad enough, now he's starting to put the ball in his own net!!!!!

I think Beasley is better when he's focused and not on drugs.

This is true, I won't argue that.  But Rondo usually does all his work in the first half.  In the fourth quarter he is deathly afraid to shoot the ball.  He won't do it.  He'd rather kick it out to Rasheed who shoots another three that usually misses.

Oh c'mon. This is just pure hate talking. Beasley's one dimensional and even if focused will NOT be better than KG. Now I think you just hate the Celtics and everything about 'em. 

I really want to wait for Game 1 and see what these Celts look like. These are 3 hall of famers, they won't go down without a fight.

I bet it feels like twenty years to them now though after their fall from grace in the second half of the season.  Oh by the way, did I mention the Celtics went 27-27 after winning in Orlando on Christmas day?  After a quick 23-5 start things have gone downhill fast for the men in green.  Let's call a spade a spade, the Celtics are a .500 team.

These teams are certainly both huge trainwrecks, I will not dispute that.  Yet sadly the Celtics lost to both of them during their second half swoon.  They also lost to the Wizards at home.

The Heat are one of the hottest team in the league currently,
while the Celtics are one of the coldest.

This is definitely not the only reason to back Miami, but I know for a fact that the men in green are in serious trouble.

I would question every assumption that people could make about the Celtics.  Their experience turned old age, their lack of competitiveness, their fear of having to play Cleveland should they advance, their bench players, and their coaching.

I will be on Miami at +160 for the series.

I like the Celts in this Series!!!! I can't see the Celts getting dropped in round one. They was another crack at the Cavs!!!!
