67-47 yest 1-0-1 for the week 3-1
Whenever the LAL are in the area of -1 to +1.5 they are 0-5 ATS. Why is this important? The oddsmakers can make the line whatever they want with them at this range of the line and they will get ridiculous action on them. Normally I hate -1 except when it involves them. It always feels like the oddsmakers are saying, here take them at +1, doesn't it look good taking the best team in the league? Start of a road trip 3 or more games they are only 1-3 SU and ATS and eerily they were getting a short line at +points in three of those games and losing each time SU and ATS very similar to tomorrow. They could make this line LAL -2 and get the same action as well at 75/25 splits. So why +1, to bait people in, but SA is playing their best ball of the season and haven't lost a game at home since 1/31/10. Just feels like SA takes this game tomorrow by around 7 points. I'll take a 25-10 SU home team that is hungry for wins vs the champs who are just trying to not get hurt this last month as they defend their title. They're in cruise control and nothing but 1 of 82.
Toronto +?- I just don't like the way Utah is playing on the road lately losing their last 3 SU and ATS. Yeah I know Toronto stinks but getting points at home feels like the right play and they have won 3 of 4 albeit against bad teams. I wish I could make a better case for them but I can't as they are in a bad funk the past month. This is more of a gut play than anything so I don't expect any to like this play and I don't blame you.
Only other game that interests me is OKC as I think they might come out angry and destroy Houston but I'll see and would love for the line to move to 7.5 or more. GL all.
