Sup gents. Have a little time today so I will give some thoughts on the games. Had a profitable day yesterday...bout damn time. Hit Clipps and Blazers as well as an ML parlay with the Bucks, Mavs and Spurs. Hoping to profit today as well. As always wishing you guys the best of luck. Peace out - - - MAK
MILWAUKEE BUCKS - 1 (-110) - - - Adding Salmons and Stack mid season has revamped this teams identity in my opinion. Consistent defensive effort was the only thing allowing the bucks to stay in the eastern conference hunt. But the acquisition of 2 scoring shooting guards gives them the ability to out-score teams as well. They proved it last night lighting up the Hornets for 115 points. Bucks have very subtle talent. Delfino is a smart player who can score and has great playmaking ability for a forward. Mbah a Moute is a hell of a power forward in a small forwards body. He rebound very well and gives up his body for charges more then anyone in this league. Andrew Bogut is really playing like a #1 overall pick now. Getting his groove in the Scott Skiles system and proving he is an all-star caliber center in the East. Jennings has dropped off significantly from the start of the season however he is still a solid rookie PG with a lot of potential. With a solid pg vet like Ridnour backing him up the Bucks have no problems at the 1 position. X-factor for the Bucks this season is rookie Ersan Ilyasova. One of my favorite rooks this year, he has been an absolute beast and a hell of a surprise. He is long, lean and has international experience. He is a matchup problem for many many teams due to his length, speed and agility. He will cause problems for a scarce Indy front court tonight. Bucks have already beat Indy twice this season and have a better roster now then they did the prior two meetings. Indy fluctuates in their effort and relies on their shot way too much. I think the Bucks have a pretty solid roster defensively and now offensively and should not be underestimated. 6 UNITS GLEN ROBINSON - - -
DENVER NUGGETS - 5.5 (-110) - - - I really think Denver is a top-tier team and a western contender. This spread is too low and should be taken advantage of. The back court of Ellis and Curry will have a lot of trouble against much stronger and bigger defenders in Billups and Afflalo. Even quickness won't help considering shot blockers like Nene, Kenyon and Birdman and down low ready to contest penetration. Denver has had success against fast break teams that play an up tempo style this season. Coming off a big win against Boston they should have the swagger and poise to win this game with ease. The first time these two teams met this season the Nugs were without Billups or Melo and Curry, Ellis and Corey combined for 90 total points in a shootout. Denver still somehow won that game. The secound time they met it was a a tough game and an OT win for Denver. Mello and J.R shot a combined 13 - 37. I just think Denver knows they need to get thier shit together on the road as they are currently a sub 500 team away from Denver. In order to win in the playoffs, they have to learn to win on the road. I am certain that due to the close O.T game in G.S recently, that Denver will be poised from start to finish and treat this as an important road game. Denver by 10+. 3 UNITS ALEX ENGLISH - - -
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS - 2.0 (-110) - - - Strictly a gut feel here. Cavs finally get the monkey off thier backs and win in Boston. I am sorry but Boston is just not the same team they were 2 years ago. Pierce is out and even if he was in he is a shell of himself against Lebron 2 years back. Ray Ray looks like age is finally getting to him and that muscle memory precise shot seems to be lost at times. Cavs roster is stacked to the brim. All they need to do is learn to play around Lebron. If coach Brown can implement a proper rotation this team is set for that trophey. What an outstanding array of big men. Shaq Daddy, Hickson, Varajao and now Leon Powe. Powe may not play a lot in his first game, but I do think he will have an impact against his former team. Mo Williams, West and Parker are as good as it gets guard rotation wise, and of course Lebron James is playing the best basketball in the NBA currently. This team was just missing a Robin for Batman and I really really think they have it with Antawn. One of my favorite players in the league. A consummate pro, a hell of a scorer and plays good defense. This is a win that the Cavs need to solidify themselves as the best of the best in the NBA, I am sure they realize this too. Big game for the Cavs and I think they break the losing streak at the Garden tonight.

BUCKS@INDY OVER 203 - - - With the Bucks new found fire power at the guard spots (Stack and Salmons) as well as the offensive emergence of big man Bogut, combined with the tempo of PG's Ridnour and Jennings sprinkled with some shitty shitty defense from Indy, equals the Bucks passing the century mark tonight. T.J Ford out of the doghouse finally means one of the fastest PG's in the league will be at the helm for about 25-30 mins. Granger and company tend to get rid of the basketball like it is a hot potato. They usually jack something up within 10 secs of the shot clock. This game should have minimal defense and a fast pace.
