CHARLOTTE BOBCATS - 5.0 (-120) - - - This
is a great situational spot for the Charlotte Bobcats. First off I
don't believe in the "lay down" aspect. Especially in this scenario.
Why would the Cats lay down here? They are swimming in swagger, Jack
has brought a different mentality to this team. Not enough people
including oddsmakers are giving the Cats their due. Cats are coming
off back to back road victories. Granted it was just 2 but they proved
to the NBA that they will not lay down on the road by beating the Cavs
who I suspect may not even lose another regular season home game all
year. The Cats are for real. We all do Gerald "Crash"
Wallace.....(yes that is his real nickname not fuckin beast) is an
all-star candidate and has my vote 100% this year in the East. I am
certain coaches will vote him in to his first ever all-star game.
Raymond Felton has balls of steel, taking a big clutch shot down the
stretch in Cleveland one on one. His confidence is at an all time high
and his coache's confidence in him is high as well. Boris Diaw, G Wall,
Nazzy and Diop are the big men who will out-rebound Chicago tonight.
Flip Murray is deadly off the bench when hot and could have an impact
tonight. Bulls are atrocious on a back to back especially on the road
and are dejected after another 4th quarter collapse. Situational
speaking this spot is gold. Chicago a god awful 0-6 SU an ATS on
back-to-backs. Charlotte is 6-2 ATS and SU when facing a team on a
back to back. What makes Charlotte dangerous is their ability to
defend. Larry Brown has this team locked on the defensive end. They
are # 3 in the NBA. They precede Orlando, Cleveland and Dallas and
they trail only Los Angeles and Boston...that goes to show you not to
underestimate this team. They are a legitimate threat and I will not
sleep. Situational game of the year # 6. So far 4-0-1 in my
situational game of the years and 4-1-1 total in my G.O.Y's. This is a
good spot to go for it.

DETROIT PISTONS + 9.0 (-110) - - - I just refuse to believe the Pistons or going to be as bad as most believe. How can it be possible? With a shitload of pure talent I just do not see any way this team can continue this horrendous run. Keep in mind that they have only had their starting lineup intact 3 times this entire season. Granted even with Tay, Rip, Ben and Villy back and healthy they are still playing garbage, but the majority of the problem with this team is shooting. That shot has not come back to Rip or Tay and they are really struggling from the field. If anyone has played basketball that shot can come back in an instant and I think tonight those two guys will be shooting Texas Stars in Dallas. Detroit misses Will Bynum off the bench who is still injured, Stuckey is probable and I think he will actually outplay J Kidd and Barea tonight. I like rookie Jerebko in the starting 5. He is a creature of habit on the floor, he hustles, moves around screens on defense like a pro and is athletic enough to mix it up down low as well. Detroit's bench is what I really think will keep them in the hunt for a playoff spot on the East. Ben Gordon and Charlie are as good as they come off the bench at least scoring wise. Once these two gunners get it going Detroit will cruise. Maxiel, Kwame and Wilcox are all serviceable big men off the bench. This Detroit roster is built for teams like Dallas. They have enough versatility at all positions to contend with Dallas tonight. Pistons on a rare 0-9 ATS losing streak and I think the inflated line here is a gift. Dallas has not covered any spreads consistently at home. Detroit has to be fed up and embarrassed and I believe they may even contest for a straight up victory tonight. The dog whisperer barks in Texas tonight.

MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES MONEYLINE - - - I feel pretty certain the Griz win one again at the Rose Garden. Why shouldn't they? I have had just about enough of Portland and their unbelievable almost irritating resilience. Impossible how Juwan Howard turned back time and is in his prime now. Amazing how an entire team that did it for them last year is on the shelf yet they just keep getting it done. Well I think it began in Los Angeles last night. Clipps with a mediocre/poor performance come out with a 10 point win. Now the travel from LA to Portland to face a team that is probably the scariest team in the NBA right now. Griz know they can beat Portland in their house. Actually at the half they were up 61-39 against Portland and that was with a healthy Oden and Prizz. If Aldridge does not play tomorrow this game is a rap, if he does it should be an exiting one. I just think Memphis is the real deal holyfield. They just undressed the best home team in the NBA. Griz are 10-2-1 ATS in their last 13 and I do not see them stopping anytime soon. You have to take notice when your two big men are demolishing 4 and 5 men in the NBA. Zach and Marc are the best rebounding duo this league has seen in a very long time. Mike Conley Jr. is emerging a floor general and is becoming that PG most thought he would coming out of college. O.J likes mayonnaise and will guard Brandon well tonight. Rudy Gay spit on a dismal contract offer extension and said he wanted to prove he has star potential and wants the big bucks. He is showcasing his skill this season for all to see. If you know NBA basketball you know legends are born during contract years. Off the bench the Griz are not to shabby as well. Vet Jamal Tinsley has been an awesome addition. Thabeet, Young and Carroll are a crop of rookies who know thier role and shit their mouth. I really love the makeup of this team and under-rated coach Lionel Hollins puts it all together. Griz role and continue their dominance in the West.

NEW JERSEY NETS + 1.5 (-110) - - - There
are lots of things you can analyze back and forth when capping NBa
basketball but one thing you cannot deny is when a team in getting
healthy. Nets are getting their men back....funny thing is it doesn't
matter. I love the rotational game that Kiki is now playing. He has
basically gotten rid of those Josh Boones, Rafer Alston's, Bobby
Simmons, all the players that really did nothing for them....have been
benched. Kiki is going with a very short and leashed rotation and I
love that. Devin, Lee, CDR, Yi and Lopez are the fab 5. Off the bench
getting very limited time are Battie, Williams and Dooling. Now with
Hayes coming back you may see him get some time as well. But again a
majority of the minutes go to the starting 5 and I think that is
great. Tonight key matchup is Redd and Lee. Redd off a big game and
his confidence is high, but remember that Lee was the starting rookie
in the finals for Stan Van Gundy for a reason. His defense will be key
tonight. I love Yi Jianlian's game, frame and name. He has a lot of
talent and is a legit 7 footer with a shot and some muscle. He has the
ability to be a great player in this league. CDG is a pure scorer and
with some discipline can also blossom into an NBA stud. This team is
bound to win more games with this rotation and I think one of those
games are against the Bucks on Tuesday.

PHOENIX SUNS - 2.0 (-115) - - - This
is not a trap line by any means. In my opinion it is quite accurate.
Kings always play tough at home but they have been primarily successful
against sub .500 teams. Suns are coming off another big blowout, but
this time on their home floor. They didn't seem to show up after big
losses earlier in the season, but this home defeat may have stung a bit
more and I think they come out with tenacity and grit and get this done
in Cali. The makeup of both teams is very similar which will make this
an interesting game but the fact the Suns beat the Kings already this
season without Lou or Barbossa makes me think the Suns have the edge
tonight, low wager because I respect the Kings roster now, especially
at home, but I suspect a Suns win.

like the Cats too, but i cant go against Mavs at home. Their shooting is crazy at home, and no high hope for Det's def. Grizz's line is moving down fast, i caught it at +1. GL good write up as always
