I like SAC strong in this spot as they are attempting to end the year on a high note vs DEN who has played some very flat games L5 g on the road in which they lost each SU and ATS. Most glaring in their last 2 w/o G Billups in the lineup, which they surrended late in games when the team had no direction.
SAC on the other hand has a lot of positives in their L10 which when looking at things closely, they could of very easily gone 9-1 ATS. Ok, its a reach from what actually has happened 5-4-1 but the 3 losses and 1 push were
1) 2OT vs the Lakers in which they realized the Kobe was playin
2) OT vs the CAVS which Z. Illgauskus make 3 of his 4 3pt on the season--and for only the 2nd time in NBA history to score 0 in OT
3) a -.5 hook loss vs WAS
4) vs POR when they squandered a 7 pt lead heading in 4th Q
What does stand out in all this is that SAC has had a difficult time closing out games lately (vs CHI was more of poor coaching by CHI than what SAC coming back from -35) but this is offsetted by the inablility of aforementioned....DEN w/o C. Billups will fold on the road
