I think the Bulls have a nice situation again tonight vs. Sactown. This is the last game of a long road trip for the Kings. The Kings got a nice win vs Mil the other night at the last second. Human nature may say that they are happy with that win and just want to get home after tonight's game. The Bulls have been home for a long time and have been starting to put things together. They have been hustling and playing a full 48 minutes.
Basically, I am banking on a road weary team, on the last game of their trip, going up against a scrappy, hustling team that has been sleeping in their own beds for a week now. I don't think the Bulls will look ahead to NYK tomorrow. They will want to continue their turnaround and beat the Kings tonight. The Bulls will not underestimate this team. Sac does have revenge from when the Bulls beat them up pretty good in Sac earlier this year. Several people had MIL to beat SAC last game due to fatigue. Sactown stepped up and pulled off the straight up win. I am looking for a let down. Sac has played better than I thought they ever would and have played well on the road recently. I just think that ends tonight.
Tyrus Thomas should be back at the end of the week. As much as I don't like the guy as a player, This will help the Bulls continue their turnaround. He will be flying high all over the court dunking and collecting rebounds on both ends. He will only add to their depth.
As I stated a couple games ago, this Bulls team is not as bad as they have played. We have gotten 2 in a row and I expect the 3rd to be tonight.

Completely agree. I think people need to remember that the Bucks had suffered close losses to the Celtics, Lakers, and CAVS the night before playing the Kings, and definitely didn't play their best. It was a bad spot for them laying 6 to the Kings, who had just endured an embarrassing blowout loss to the Wolves the night before as small favorites. Sacramento is now 2-11 on the road this year, and I wouldn't count on them winning 2 in a row away from home against a quality opponent. With this number only being 4, any Bulls win will likely get the cover. Revenge would be a concern, but with Brad Miller and John Salmons squaring off versus their former team, I feel it is less likely that they look past them, and more likely that they look to continue their resurgence towards .500 and reclaim playoff positioning on this important homestand.

Bulls have two big wins in a row - should be feeling pretty good about themselves too - could they let down against a scrappy team seeking revenge for the embarassing loss?

Not a homer play. If you take a look at my last couple of posts for the last couple of games, I had the Bulls as well. Not because I am a homer, but because everything points to them turning this embarrassing start to the season around.
I remember when the schedule came out, thinking that the Bulls play some tough competition to start the season before easing up a bit in the middle. Throw in the circus trip that always kicks them in the balls and injuries to derrick rose, tyrus thomas and kirk heinrich and there was a recipe for disaster. Funny thing is, the Bulls have beaten some of the better teams straight up, so you know they can compete.
The city was down on this team, hell this team was down on themselves. They have shown fight as they finally get some home games and injured players back. You will see the Bulls spreads start to rise in the near future, especially at home, because they are playing better. My guess is if this game was played in a month from now the spread would be 7 or 8. So I think we are getting value at 4 tonight.
Thanks for the input guys. Look forward to hearing more angles.

Wait a second...Milwaukee didn't cover against the Kings a few days back???? I thought they blew them out...
If I were to use the same logic that Sac is wrecked from their vicious road schedule, my money would be on the Bulls. Sacramento is confident about their abilities though and are starting to believe the recent positive press about their team.
The side here is a No Play for me as I am still trying to wrap my head around what type of team is Sacramento.

If the Kings have a better then average shot at a win tonight is the night. Yea they are playing on the road where they have not done so well. But most of the games have been close, they just seem to fall apart in the 4th. Last game they pulled through and came together behind Evans. The Kings have the Cavs at home on wed, the Lakers at home on Sat, and then Denver at home on Monday. IMO they play those teams well at home. But first they have a shot at the W tonight before 3 tough games. I'm sure the Kings want to return home on a winning note. Im a homer but its just my thoughts on tonights game.

I really think the Bulls take care of business at home tonight. The Kings are a scrappy team but this long trip has taken a toll on them. This is a great spot for the Bulls. I will lay the 4 at home and take the Bulls.

unbelievable!!! I have never seen anything like that. I refuse to believe we capped that wrong regardless of the outcome. That was special. I have no feel how they will come out tonight vs. NYK. The sports radio and papers in Chicago are really cracking me up today. You can't even be angry at Vinny because he is suck a joke.

Has vinny been fired yet? the only thing saving his job is that the bulls are on a back to back with travel is there is simply not time to fire him..... I think you said earlier, the bulls always fire their coaches before christmas, I don't know how vinny doesn't get the axe tomorrow, unless the bulls decide they are gonna ride out the season to save some money and actually fire the coach when they are ready to make the jump to the next level.....

The Bulls have fired 2 coaches on xmas eve in the recent past. That is on my Christmas list this year. Anyone who doesn't think that Vinny is the problem, has not been watching the Bulls or following the Bulls news. Yes the players made mistakes in the second half, but that is because Vinny allowed them. There was no shake up at all. The players who let the lead slip from 35 to 20 should have been taken out for whatever bench players you want. They weren't. He sat there like a stump while Sac made that comeback. In Chicago, the sound byte they keep playing on the radio from Vinny is..."These things happen"...Yes they do, but only to your team you useless asshat. Phil Jackson wouldn't have let that happen, scott skiles wouldn't have let that happen. (Insert NBA coach here) would not let that happen.

"Did you see the Chicago Bulls had a 35-point lead the other night and lost the game? See, that just goes to show you, you should never leave a game early just to beat the traffic, especially if you're playing in the game."
