Be careful when betting the Grizzlies.  I live 10 minutes outside of Memphis and know the ins and outs of this team.  They are as Jeckyll and Hyde as they come.  Throw Iverson in the lineup and who knows what you will get.  There is already controversy about whether he will start or not and he hasn&#x27;t even played a game yet.  I would let this play out for a few weeks before I place any money on them.  Just my personal opinion based on hearing all of the talk around town.

Also thought I should mention that in the 9 years they have been here in town (with the exception of the 2 playoff years), they very rarely put 2-3 strong performances together in a row.  They looked terrible on opening night, then got a win against Toronto at home and played out of their minds tonight in Denver (and still somehow moosed a cover in the end).  I would be very suprised to see them come out with a strong performance tomorrow.

phoenix missed the playoffs because they tried to change their style under terry porter, and after he was fired it was too late to catch up with strong first 8 teams on the west.
