I can't believe it my first play of the NBA season is on the Clippers

Clippers +11 5 units

Boston +5 1.5 units

Lakers get their rings and Clippers get the cover. I thought the Clips might be ok this year with Blake then I hear he is out for 6 weeks with a broken knee cap. Isn't that just the luck of the Clippers? If it wasn't for bad luck they would not have any luck at all. Got the play at 11 and looking for a Laker Championship hang over tonight. Baron Davis is on a mission this year.

I agree with everything you say.  I think tonight may even come down to a final minutes, so I'm looking to add a small Clippers moneyline play.  Best I can get right now is +600.

I've muttered the same thing to myself at least four times today.

Because at heart, they're  a group of lazy, entitled, overly-worshipped hoopsters who seldom take weak opponents seriously.  I'm on the Clippers +12 -111 from Pinnacle.

With Mike Dunleavy guiding the other team, a 117-79 final is not out of the question.  I can't rule it out.  More than most, I understand that wagering on the Los Angeles Clippers comes with the inherent risk of looking really, really stupid by game's end.

I'm holding out on adding 5 more units at +12 -113, hoping by game time I'll get the +12 at -105.  If Boston continues to control this game, many of those Cleveland backers will most likely take the Lakers.  After all they are the world champions, tonight is the raising of the banner, ring ceremony, even Mr. Winter is coming out for this special night.  I'm sure the Clippers have the world champions undivided attention.

Wagering on the Clippers breaks rule #1 of NBA betting.  I've broken the first rule in opening day.  What a season this is going to be. 

I'm considering taking the Clippers for the first half at +6.5 and the first half moneyline of +260.  Its just a matter of how many times I wanna kick myself in the ass tonight.

That first half by the Clippers was unbearable.  That god for Craig Smith.  I can't believe I have Baron Davis on my fantasy team.
