Sure they can thats why ORL will shoot 40ish % and not 90%. Did LA play defense the last 4 meetings? Of course. And above are posted the results. Stats dont lie.![]()

What I did is I pulled ORL seasonal stats then compared it to Game 1. Thats where I got the 16% increase
Then seperately I calculated ORL's avg performance over their last 4 games vs LAL dating back into only 2008-9 regular season and including Game 1. Thats where the 13% increase comes from.
So I said we can make the assumption of 13-16 FG% increase. Which gives 20-26 more points.

Not trying to piss in your cheerios but again I must tell you that these avgs. do not produce enough statistical validity to making this a play, imo. Have you looked at each of the situational circumstances that surrounded each of the regular season games the Magic played vs.the Lakers? Do the numbers you produced account for the absence of Jameer Nelson and addition of Rafer Alston, etc.? You stated in another post above that stats don't lie. I disagree. When you take averages across an entire season with different personnel the results can be misleading. Good luck with your play![]()
