how about this. sportsinteraction has denver at +8000 to win the nba title.
tell me how new orleans is +4000, utah is +3300, houston and portland are +2800 a piece, and the spurs are +2000? how on earth is denver +8000 at the 2 seed?
denver at this price is a must play here. i don't give a shit how likely it is that the cavs or lakers win the title.

no they don't. their road to the finals is way more difficult then
denvers. think about it. denver is favoured this round at -201 against
the hornets. if they advance they'll face the winner of san
antonio/dallas. they will be favorites again in the second round. with two home court series against noh, sas/dal, a chance to have a team in the conference finals at 80-1 is too good for me to pass up. it's no guarantee the lakers even make the conference finals either

Wow very VERY good point bro. I forgot they play the Dallas/Spurs winner. They could easily win that series...

as for detroit they have to beat the best team in the association, and then be underdogs to either atlanta or miami, both of whom i think can beat detroit. then if they make their 7th straight conference finals they are looking at boston/chicago/orlando/philly, you can make a case for who you think they can or can't hang with of those 4 teams. sportsinteraction has detroit at 80-1 but i see on pinnacle they're 110-1. fair enough, but i'll argue atlanta at 100-1 is better than detroit at 110-1.

whether this will prove to be true or not, that's not the point. i will not pass up this type of number to a team that's going to be favorites in the first two rounds in the playoffs. any team, any sport.

They may be the faves on paper but I think the Denver/Hornets series could go either way and same with a Denver/Mavs or Spurs match up. And how do u turn a profit if Denver gets to the conf finals? hedging?

line has now been fixed and denver is now +2000 to win it all
on a side note, give me philadelphis at +700 to beat the magic. i'm not reading too much into orlando's struggles to finish the season, but i'm not confident that they shoot the lights out like they have for most of this season. rafer has brought the first round stench over with him from houston.

Why would you even bother bumping this crap, Denver still has no chance in hell of even getting to the finals, let alone winning the chip. You should have got a cheap escort with that unit insted jabroni.
