What a waste yesterday, hit almost all my gambles but lost my NBA bets and ended up with a small measly profit when it should have been a great night. Today more of the same, with the help of my good friend who is now 3-1 in the WBC and 10-2 in the NCAAB, I will be following a few of his picks today, coupled with my NBA game of the year this is an important day. Will either be or . Goin for it, I say fuck it. Scared money don't make money, best of luck gentlemen.
DENVER NUGGETS - 4.5 (B/2 - 160) G.O.Y - - - My NBA game of the year thus far, don't see any way Denver busts this cover. Denver is fighting for their divisional lives as they are watching their division lead evaporate. This is a very important game for the Nuggets, a must win and against one of the worst teams in the NBA a must win equals money in our pockets. Denver played amazing vs Utah, it was really Utah's hustle combined with Denver's fatigue that lost that game for DEN. An outstanding effort in Salt Lake City where a lot of teams can't hang let alone have a 19 point lead at one point. Denver wants that 3rd spot as it guarantees home court in the 1st and 2nd round of the playoffs. It is very important to the Nugs. This game means squat to the Kings, in fact I thing Kings will come out lacking any rhythm and will be shocked at Denver's intensity off the bat, The Kings have been resting for 4 days, in those 4 days I doubt this game, the season or basketball was a top priority for any of the players or coaches. This season is a bust and so is this team, after waiving Drew Gooden they now hold a front court consisting of 2 rookies. Hawes and Thompson are their only bigs. Off the bench they have SF's Nociono and Green playing PF...no good, especially against the big Nugs who have Nene playing like a beast, Kenyon may play, Johan Petro is bigger then anyone on Sac and Chris Andersen is the 3rd best shot blocker in the league. Not only that but I think Andersen changes more shots at the rim then anyone in this league including Dwight. Andersen is always contesting shots and disrupting post offense. Karl is even getting production from Balkman again who has had back to back solid games. If Klieza and J.R Smith can hit shots early this game should be done by the 3rd. Mello and especially Chauncy will not allow a let down against the Kings. Nugs love the Cali sun and should easily catch on fire vs the worst defense in the NBA, already scorching SAC by scoring 118 on them twice this season. Nugs baby.

PHILADELPHIA 76ERS MONEYLINE - - - Don't be fooled by the close win over the Griz, Memphis is playing well with Gasol and Conley finding their game. Conley had a career game yet Philly still manage to win. Even if Durant plays Philly should take this. OKC's asset is their hustle. They usually out-hustle teams at home, get to loose balls, rebound etc. Philly however is one team they will not out-hustle. This team has good chemistry, a smart point guard, good shooters and most importantly great closers. Iggy is trying to make a statment and show he is a star player, his team shows this by going to him down the stretch. Lou Williams is once again a leader in thr 4th q. Dre runs the team to perfection. Thaddeus and Green are good shooters and Sammy, Speights, Evans and even Ratliff soldify a nice big rotation. Too much for OKC tonight.

SAN ANTONIO SPURS - 4.5 (B/2 - 150) - - - Drew Gooden will not play for at least a week, despite that this Spurs team is deseptively deep. Forgotten bench guys will be the key tonight in what should be a grind em out game, the under in this game also looks good as I think defense gets it done tonight. Oberto, Thomas, Hill, Mason, Bonner, Bowen and even Udoka are key tonight as San An shows why they are the best team in the West aside from Kobe and his Lakers.

BOSTON CELTICS - 1.5 (B/2 - 150) - - - If Orlando wins, Vegas is smart as hell. This line smells like nasty fish. It smells like oddsmakers know that Orlando wins this game. I just can't go against the Celts anymore. They showed me they are the best team in the NBA against the Cavs. Powe, Perk and Baby are keys to this teams success. I hope Big Baby is not suspended for the Flagarent 2. It was a bad follow through, he may be gone for this game. Even so Powe and even Mikki Moore will do well. Turk, Lewis and Pietrus are hit and miss, if they can't hit shots no way Orlando beats Boston at home. "Hondo" & "The Professional" (Allen) will be key. Superman won't have any magic tonight as Orlando won't be able to handle "The Truth"
