What if someone were to play a really solid team like the Lakers or the Celtics and make a 1 unit play all year ATS. For example, the Celtics last year were, 52-28-2 ATS. 52 times you would have won $90 on a $100 wager making your bank roll with a balance of $9880. Now you would lose $100 dollars (1 unit) 28 times for a total of $2800 as a difference of $7080 in your account at the end of the season. Actually they pushed twice so add $200 more in your account making it $7280. Am I missing something here. Wouldn’t this be a rock solid investment?

It is a good idea at first glance, that being said, bookmakers are smart.
I remember for like 3 years in a row, the raptors were great ats, then the last few, the bookmakers caught up, and they were alot worse ats. It may work for this year yet, or even the next few, but eventually, the lines will just be too inlated, especially with so many people riding them.
I think there are better systems out there, but yeah, for this season, I would guess that you would end up plus money with both the lakers and celtics. Especially if you laid off when they were on a bad streak.
Good luck, post your results if you decide to do it.

good luck finding that right team...and remember you need to ride them the whole year for your investment to work. Boston this year is 4-7 ats. Maybe ride the lakers

Yeah the problem is the luck ratio. Teams may be good and win and sometimes will hook a few ATS wins together. The problem is if you find a team(you can never be sure which will do the best) then ride them all year, you won't know until the year is over. What if they lose players or they are a favorite of the public? Looking back it's easy to say well if I just bet on this team or that team, the hard part is knowing which team and guessing correctly or you will end up losing money for the year.

Hey Id say if you have the bank roll you might as well give it a shot. It never hurts trying something like this. Key is being patient. I think if I was going to follow, I would probably do that w/ two good teams just to balance things out a bit. Plus it never hurts just to buying a pt or two in different situations. None the less I could see this being at least benefical in theory. Good luck!
So far I think good teams Id be trying this w/
Lakers (of course.. so far early they have been on fire ats)
Denver (So much talent, and in a lot of their bigger games they will probably still be (+) like games vs Utah etc
Cleveland (People still aren't fully realizing just how good that team is. Can you say Conference Finals!
Boston seems a decent candidate, but Ive only messed w/ them on teasers. They are probably more of a 500 % covering but still worth a look none the less.
Orlando and Miami are a few others I've noticed that do a decent job ats.
As I said before though GL

That all sounds good but just remember PAST RESULTS DOES NOT GUARANTEE FUTURE RESULTS.
