of all the years i lived in vegas, and all the stuff that goes down in this town......the nba all star weekend was the worst!  I, at the time worked at ballys and made the mistake of getting on LV blvd on my way home Sat nite.  it was total chaos. People walking all over between the cars, lying in the street, cars disreguarding lanes. it was a free for all. total lack of respect by most. The other mistake i made was going to the Palms. Maloof was hosting most of the NBA players......i shoulda known better, but i needed to cash in a winning ticket. There were people just lying on the floor between each bank of slot machines, using the sports book as a place to make there camps. They had no intention of ever buying a room for the nite. Security just gave up.                                    

I'm a optimistic person by nature, but humanity took a big step backwards that weekend.
