As the place to stay for my 40th birthday.  Anyone have any intel on the room to book?  Is the standard room fine or is there a suite that's extra special and worth it?

For shows we'll see Love and La Reve, but looking for a 3rd show.  We've seen all the Cirque shows except for Love at this point.

I figure we'll check out Zine since we're staying there, and maybe CUT as well.  I've also heard good things about the rooftop restaurant at Paris, so will probably go there as well.  Any others?  Thanks.

all rooms are suites. i have stayed at both pallazzo and venetian(same owner) cant go wrong with either hotel. rooms are great. poker room is in the venetian, sporksbooks are cool at both, although lagasse stadium is very nice to hang out and watch games.

I have never stayed at the palazzo but I have gambled there a few times and loved the place.

the food here is good not great, the service is very good. The prices are insanely high. The view is to die for. It is such a great sight if you have not seen it.

If you are on a budget, try drinks in the bar up there

all the rooms at the palazzo are sweet suites. No need to upgrade, they are quite nice.

I did stay in a huge room there one time, it was like 500/night. It was insane!

Two bathrooms, living room, huge bath. Silly really.

I think Love is the best show in town, must see......Palazzo s a great place, their sportsbook is real nice too......lesser shows but great value in my opinion.....V Variety Show might be the best value in Vegas for shows at Planet Hollywood

Liked the casino though it was small.  Rooms were nice, but I upgraded to a view of the strip which meant view of Treasure Island and a little bit of the Mirage.

Lagasse's Stadium is awesome has good wings and cold cheap beer.  Carne Vino was also a good steak but wasn't impressed with the sides.  I would stay there again but next time I go will probably try the Wynn out.
