Oscar's Saturday WNBA Selections

I had a winner last night with Connecticut losing a heartbreaker but covering the 6 1/2 point spread at Seattle, here are today's plays for the two games on tap:

652 Washington +4 -1.09 $327 to win $300-New York comes in at 12-8 while Washington is playing out the string as they are only 3-14 but I see line with the underdog here today. These teams just met in New York on July 28th and Washington was competitive for the entire game before falling 75-71. Although Washington has only won one of their last five games, they have covered three out of five and at least appear to still be competing. New York is off of a win against Chicago in an ugly 59-49 game but they trailed for much of that game and basically covered due to Chicago only scoring 1 point in the 4th Quarter. In that earlier meeting in New York, the Liberty were 8 1/2 point favorites and when you factor in home court value, you can come up with a mythical line based on that meeting a week ago of about a pick here, so the line value is clearly with Washington. I like this game Over here as well as New York is 7-2 to the Over in road games this year and both teams are off very low scoring games and I'll probably kick myself for not playing it but I am just going to ride with the home doggie.

654 San Antonio -14 1/2 -1.08 $162 to win $150

654 Tulsa/San Antonio Under 150 -1.10 $220 to win $200-I'm not going into a big writeup on this one, I just can't trust Tulsa and they have already been blown out twice by San Antonio this year. The totals in the earlier games were 162 and 161 yet today it is 150, I smell a trap. I'm putting a little bit more on the Under but I do not enjoy betting games like this, I just don't really know what Tulsa has left to play for while San Antonio is still battling for a playoff spot.
