He should join a WNBA team, so that way he is guaranteed to win a ring!
Seriously, I'm a Raptors fan and I still can't believe that James sold out his hometown to join two other superstars! His legacy is ruined and it only makes people realize how great Jordan and even Kobe were. They never sold out their respective teams, and stuck around through the good and bad. And that is why they are MEN, while Bosh and Lebron are lil boys that need help to get something done!

gotta love the haters ! SOLD OUT a team ? Im sorry, I missed the lesson in professional sports where players are required to stay with one team......A player staying with one team isnt even common !....NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL....players leave teams each year, whether by choice or they get forced to leave via trade....Typically these trades or free agency moves revolve around MONEY....If anything that is the saddening part, when players become greedy and leave or holdout for money, instead of the love of the game / winning...
JAMES, WADE, BOSH and damn near everyone else signing with the HEAT right now are taking less money by doing so....If these were greedy sell-outs, they would be signing elsewhere....The only reason BOSH and JAMES are getting trashed is because they both went to the same team....get real....If anyone who posts these numerous threads and opinions bashing these players really gave a shit about selling-out and hurting the game and so on, they be posting these threads every single day of they year...each time any player left any team or was traded,ect....but guess what...they dont post that do they ? because all this is an opportunity for the very people trashing the HEAT bandwagon by contributing to the LEBRON hater bandwagon
Even Michael Jordan did it....If the Bulls, Lakers or Celtics brass had the chance to land the other stars from their respective teams...none of them would have bitched...they would have excepted it with open arms and been ecstatic...Jordan got an opportunity to make himself seem even more the legend who didnt need help or wouldnt want it...yet he had no problem having the likes of Pippen, Rodman, ect on his team.....Kobe had Shaq, and Gasol, and tried to pull off the Kobe,Shaq,Malone Payton dream squad !! Yet people have the balls to say you dont see KOBE looking for help either....LMFAO

I have no problem with Lebron leaving Cleveland. I just didn't like the way he did it. Seriously, a hour special to announce what team he is signing with. How can his ego get?!

I'm from Chicago. First of all, MJ never "inherited" the likes of Mr. Scottie Pippen. These two players DEVELOPED TOGETHER, and made Chicago a dynasty in the 90's. Rodman only came about in the 2nd three-peat. He was a great player and the greatest rebounder of all time, but he was never a SUPERSTAR. MJ only made players better that were surrounding him. Just like Jordan said, he would never call up Larry or Magic and ask them to play on a team together because they were such fierce competitors. I'm not upset at all for Lebron going to Miami because he made a decision that was right for him and he wants to win a championship. I will never take that away from anybody if they join a team. If i was in a position like him, i would have done the same thing. Just like Chilibun said, it's the WAY he WENT ABOUT in conducting his business. MJ, Larry, or Magic would have never had a 1 hr special on a stupid ass "decision." Get real and be a man and just say where you are going/wanting to go play...that's all i have to say. Props to Miami for getting Bron. I love Pat Riley and i think he's a genius. I can see the young coach at Miami getting let go by Riley and Riley taking over! =)

Do you guys honestly think it was his idea to have that 1 hr. special??? Absolutely not...It is just what this world is coming to. They have to make everything a reality show. Lebron could have cared less if it was on a 1 hr. special or not he was told it had to be done this way. NBA is like the WWE and everything is starting to follow in its footsteps! Don't think this is the last time we are going to see this...matter of fact I think BRETT FAVRE is next!

No...MJ didnt have the cast around him that every team in seemingly the last 10 years did to win their titles....but Pippen DID avg over 17 ppg in his career...was a 7 time all star...and is in the top-25 for mutliple NBA catergories...While Rodman won 2 titles elsewhere, pulled almost 14 boards per game career, 2 time All Star & Defensive player of the year....doesnt matter how they got there, they were STARS....just as BOSH, WADE and JAMES are
I love MJ, dont get me wrong...he was my fav player growing up along with some old school Heat players...But he played in a different era...where they made a fraction of what these players do and something like this situation was a DREAM, hence them playing together on the DREAM team...haha....MJ saying he wouldnt have talked about playing with Bird & Magic, is only true because it wasnt possible...
I do agree the special and how all of that was handled was a bit over-done and I could of done without it....But that is the day and age we live in...Everything is a production
