as of now the line is at -155 for cain.  Line has definitely gone out of his favor since it came out so hopefully people will bite on jds as we near fight night.  

JDS cardio is very very suspect during the roy nelson fight especially when the fight was hardly EVER on the ground.  I do expect for Cain to get dropped at least once during the fight but i'm not concerned about it.  Cain has a great chin and can take punches, you can watch the kongo fight and even the big nog fight.  JDS is going to have big big trouble when it goes to the ground, his cardio will be massively tested and he will get grounded and pounded.  Cain has stated in past interviews that the kongo fight was not a great fight for him, that he learned from it, etc well jds is a better striker and he does have great boxing but this is mma, the the guy with the ncaa div 1 wrestling background is going to smother the jiu jitsu guy.  Dave camarillo is a great coach not because he's taught cain how to win by submissions but the escapes that he can utilize should he ever be in bad positions.  The minute that jds gets super comfortable standing up and boxing, that's when the fight will get to the ground, easy, easy game plan.  The more i think about this, the more i'm afraid the line will be -200 come fight night but hopefully i'm wrong.

No love for jds on covers.. I will agree that cains cardio does concern me. He will push the pace and really test jds but I think the match is still 50/50 so my money (not a big bet though) is on jds. Jds and Cain and both machines and are both undefeated and both capable of stopping their opponents early.

And so what happened in the first fight that we learned?  Cain went into that fight with an injured knee and got hit in a sweet spot behind his ear, causing his equilibrium to be off.  

I do note however that cain was never knocked out, just watch very closely and this is huge to me.  There is no doubt in my mind that cain will get dropped again and maybe even more than 1 time.  But what are the chances that jds can land a punch in a sweet spot like he did in the first fight?  In my mind, jds might bloody cain up, break his nose yet cain can still win the fight with his wrestling, and ground and pound.  I am so anxious to see what jds looks like when he is on the ground because i know that cain has to be there, on top position, for him to win this fight.  To me cain velasquez has a better chin than roy nelson, so in my mind cain has a real shot at winning and the odds are in his favor at +165.  

Cain Velasquez is going to be the heavyweight champion tonight.  He can really get jds in deep trouble by taking this fight past the 1st and 2nd round because what i stated over a year ago still stands as far as the cardio goes.

 Cain does definitely not have a better chin that Big Country. He gets wobbly knees quite often after getting tagged

i don't need anyone to forget what i said last year especially when i flat out said i was shocked that jds won on top of writing back into this old thread.  I'd rather have wobbly knees or still be awake from getting hit behind the ear than be out cold from andrei arlovski like roy nelson was one time.  The definition of having a solid chin is being able to take a punch and get dropped yet not get put to sleep.  Juan manuel marquez as an example was dropped in his last fight vs manny pacquiao but he was still awake.

You seem to be under the impression that having a granite chin means when you don't EVER get dropped, i'm sorry but you need to do a little more research to refine your thinking.  

Nick diaz as another example has a solid chin, even though he kept getting tagged over and over and over one time by jeremy jackson but how many blows did it finally take before he was put to sleep at that time and get knocked out?
