#2 Posted: 8/27/2011 11:23:51 PM Jon Jones is overrated. He beat Bader (big deal) and an out of shape, rusty Shogun. He will not get through Rampage, Rashad and Machida. He might even lose two out of those three. |

Wow that was funny. He will darn up Rampage, destroy Jones and beat the piss Machida drinks right out of him.
Dude you have not been watching UFC that long I can tell.
Jones vs Silva is the biggest fight ever. They are the only two guys I can honestly say have a chance to defeat one another. |

I have been watching UFC since the 2nd one came out on VHS, was with the sport during the black out days, and have forgotten more mma than you will ever know. Rashad manhandled Jones every time they sparred and worked together in the gym. That is not news to people actually in the know. Machida would cause all sorts of timing problems for Jones and is nearly impossible to take down. He is also a much better striker than Jones. Rampage has the heart of a lion, one punch power and doesn't quit on himself. All three pose problems for Jones, and he will not get through all three undefeated. Mark my words. |

Right bud cause you were in the gym and saw them sparring lol
Jones will darn up all three, Rua swarmed Machida and see what happened, Jones swarmed Rua and see what happened, Jones then swarms Machida and it happens all over again. Out of the three you mention Machida is the better of the three, Rashad and Rampage are not even worth duscussing, the beatings will be severe. |

What!!!? Have you not seen him roll over enough opponents yet? You'll change your mind next fight with Rampage |

#12 Posted: 8/28/2011 11:57:51 AM sawman - I have been betting on Jones since his debut. I have a lot of friends in the NY area that told me about him long before this hype train was even built. I admit, I took Shogun over him, but other wise have been rolling with him from the beginning. He is a definite beast.
easymoney - No I wasn't in the gym seeing it, people I know talked to people that saw it every day. You would be amazed how much a thing called "networking" actually works. Jones is a turtle on his back. Rashad would take him down and that would be it. Jones could not get back up. |

Jon Jones was getting handled by Rashad every day a few months back. I am not sure what you are referring to? |

I would think that they would fight at 205, Silva can fight at that weight no problem. |

I don't recall them picking a side? They didn't want Rashad to leave. I never stated that Jones didn't have a chance against Rashad, of course he does. I just know for a fact that he couldn't handle Rashad's wrestling, and couldn't get up once on his back. So Rashad has a great chance to beat him. Jones is overrated as this unbeatable monster.
As for the bet, I won't remember you in five minutes, forget about five months. Feel free to remind me when the fight gets made, and we will make a bet based on the odds.

#23 Posted: 8/31/2011 2:04:49 PM No your correct they didnt pick side but if you analyze the situation a little closer you can see that they did "pick sides"
Rashad had been with Jacksons camp for at least 2 years before Jones showed up. When Rashad got all bent out of shape about Jones being in his camp and told Jackson that he is leaving, anyone with an oz of loyalty would have told Jones to find a new camp not Rashad.
Wrestling? He couldnt get up? lol
Ya ok bud until I see it with my own eyes I wont believe it and nor should you. What if i said "i heard that everytime they sparred Jones tko evans" would you believe that? Remember this much, the fight starts on the feet bud |

Look "bud", there are no reports out of the camp that Rashad was getting busted up on the feet. All the reports are about Jones not getting up. You have your opinions and sources and I have mine. Also, "remember this much bud", it doesn't matter where the fight starts if you cannot stop the upcoming takedown. This fight isn't signed so I am done speaking on it. Jones has to get through Rampage.
