I had no money on this one, just wanted to sit back and enjoy the fireworks. The fight started off great but when Aldo got that rear mount and started to flatten him out and threw a bunch of punches till the ref stopped it.
Don't get me wrong the ref should have stopped it but I would have rather wanted to see him get dropped or at least put MTB on his back and beat him through through GnP. Just thought it was a lame ending kind of like the Kimbo/Roy Nelson fight where Nelson won by putting him in a crucifix and just punched him till the ref got bored.

Definitely agree, I thought it was a very exciting fight I just hate to see the champ get flattened out and lose a fight just because he is taking too many punches because he couldn't defend himself from that position.

Brown did not take that position by choice. He got clipped pretty damn hard and crumpled. Aldo quickly got the mount, Brown gave up his back, and the rest is history. Did Aldo hit Brown in the back of the head? Of course he did. It happens in this scenario quite often, and it is not intentional. It did not impact the end of the fight at all in my opinion.

Exactly, it happens all the time in this position, the guy who is mounted is constantly moving his head around he is bound to take a few shots to the back of the head. No way was it enough to deduct a point from Aldo though.
