Well had a long talk with the "wiseman" this morning about the upcoming season and he broke it down for me and below you will see what he thinks about this upcoming season of the greatest sport pro football.........
AFC EAST.....
New england 11-5
(Well he says the pats are still best in this weak division but he thinks the other teams are getting alot better so even though he is not a fan of these cheaters from the east coast he does see them winning the division. Also he believes that belicheck should have been fired!!!!)
Buffalo 9-7
(He says and up and comming team with alot of potenial that just falls short this year but watch out for next season..)
Jets 7-9
(He says they are putting the pieces together but still need a QB maybe a year away)
Miami 6-10
(He loves parcells and believes the dolphins will turn things around very quickly)
AFC NORTH
Pittsburgh 10-6
(Well he says this team still has the talent but a very tough schedule but he thinks they are still the best in the north and he loves that the steelers got mendenhall thinks he will be very good)
Cleveland 8-8
(He believes they have the offensive pieces but the defene has to get better he says they will take a step back this year with a tough schedule and all but will be a team to contend with in 2009)
Baltimore 7-9
(Great defense and no true QB can only get you so far he believes before the seasons over flaicco will be the QB and the rebuilding will start.)
Cincinnati 7-9
(He says they have a definte leader in palmer but no one else a talented team with nothing up stairs.)
AFC SOUTH...
Colts 12-4
(He says for the first time in along time the colts may not win this division but that peyton and the colts will do enough again to just slip bye and win the regular season title again.)
Jags 11-5
(This is the team he says to defintley keep and eye on this year and for some years to come as they are putting it together down there in the sunshine state.)
Titans 7-9
(He loves jeff fischer as a coach who does alot with very little but there is only so much you can do with very little talent at key positions.)
Texans 7-9
(He believes that this team has talent but says that they are a true QB away from being a playoff team.)
AFC WEST..
Chargers 12-4
(He really likes the makeup of this team and says that in the nfl you have to pay your dues before you can have true success and he believes that they have paid those dues the last 3 years and it's the bolts time to shine.)
Broncos 9-7
(He says that he thinks they are strong enough defensively and shanahan is a very good play caller and thinks cutler will have a good enough season to get the broncos to the playoffs.)
Oakland 5-11
(They are putting some nice pieces together but he thinks maybe 2 years away from really making a playoff run.)
Chiefs 3-13
(He says very simple here time to rebuild and you start to rebuild with defense so he believes a great start with dorsey.)
