ill try not to be a homer on this play but thats probably inevitable. i just cant see the giants staying in this one. this game reminds me a lot of the '85 partriots who wo 3 road games in the playoffs but then had to face the best team in the league in the bears and we obviously outclassed. the giants run has no doubt been impressive but im still not sold on them. they caught a tampa team with no offense and a cowboys team that was playing like shit leading up to that game, the green bay game was no doubt impressive. the game against the patriots at the end of the year may have helped the giants to get here but in the end it may cost them this game. belicheck has had 2 weeks to prepare for them and its not as if the giants offense is innovative in anyway. the giants also got a kick return for a touchdown in that game which you cant count on here. a big factor in that game as well was the pats were missing 2 starting offensive lineman and were forced to max protect for most of the game which they wont have to do today. i cant see the pats offense punting more then twice today and im not sold that eli turned into joe montana overnight. throw in some new spygate talk to piss them off again and its not a good recipe for the giants.
