I already mentioned that getting J Franklin in the 4th was a steal..........the Bears getting Marquis Wilson in the 7th was certainly a potential steal....the kid has it all IF his attitude doesn't get in the way..........Rams getting Barrett Jones in the 4th was good.....Rams had a good draft.

Not sure f these are steals, but I think Mantei will be a stud following in Junior's footsteps. I absolutely love Mathieu. He's in a great place. The kid has great instincts. I really wanted my shitty Browns to grab him, but I got to see some McFadden highlights against Air Force and Wyoming. Wtf were they thinking?

I think Leon McFadden will be a real good NFL CB.  Probably not a shut down, but a good #2 I think.  Joe Haden will be happy.

49ers are the most stacked team & they just got to sit back & enjoy players falling to them w/ La tech WR & Lattimore.

I like the Skins 2 safeties in Rambo & Thomas.  & like Brandon Williams....he was 1st round potential before he got hurt.  Skins did good with what they had I think

Agreed that the Rams had a good draft.  Jeff Fisher does wonders for football teams.  They have gotten really smart the last 14 months.

Loved Barrett Jones...I wished my Ravens would have gotten him

I'd classify Franklin & Lacy as steals for the Packers.  Great moves by them

Jesse Williams in the 5th for the Seahawks has potential if he stays healthy.

What position will Mathieu play in the NFL.  He certainly isn't a NFL corner, and he's to small and weak to play safety.  The Cardinals essentially wasted a 3rd round pick on a special teams player.

I think Te'o will also be a bust.  He'll have a sub 4 year career in the NFL IMO.

Some guys that may turn out to be draft-day bargains are TJ McDonald, Marcus Lattimore & Jesse Williams.  McDonald is definitely a much better pick than Mathieu.

The cardinals said mathieu will play safety. And if i am wrong correct me, but wasn't mike minter about as big as mathieu?? Just saying. I think he's a nickel back that covers the slot guy (Austin and maybe harvin) at best but i just wanted to throw out the comparison.

Im a rams fan and i love the mcdonald pick in the third. Last year ppl are talking about him going in the first round and being one of, if not the first safety off the board. I agree, he's a much better pick than mathieu. Cardinals coulda got him in the fifth probably...

Gotta agree. Bruce Allen and Shanahan keep the momentum going of good solid drafts, even when they don't have headline picks.

As always though we'll never really know much until 4 years down the line, but it's good to talk....

Tyler Eifert falling to the Bengals at 21
Sharrif Floyd to the Vikings at 23.
Eddie Lacy third round to the Packers.
Agree with HammersSpeads on Phillip Thomas going to the Redskins.
Jesse Williams to the Seahawks.
Jordan Poyer CB going to the Eagles in the seventh round.

the problem rider is you have a gm who isn't qualified to run a slurpee machine at 7-Eleven. Mike Lombardi was nothing more than a good ol boy network hire. They fired Heckert for that sack of turds. Heck you guys could've hired John dorsey who goes to be GM of Kansas City

Plus you have another snake in banner. I hate to be an a$$ to ya rider because i like you but i look forward to the Packers destroying the Browns this year. I have no respect for the Cleveland Browns as they continue to bone their fans year after year. You deserve better rider

Touche

I am thinking more along the lines of the next 2+ years (after which I assume Gabbert will no longer be there)

Immediate impact this year IMHO was Lacy going to Green Bay.  It was a glaring need for an elite team, and they filled it without burning a 1st or 2nd round pick.  Running back easily the easiest position to bring a rookie in...wouldn't surprise me if this guy gets to 1,100 total yards this year.

Mathieu is a steal, no doubt about it. Biggest crime he has committed that we know about is smoking weed.

I think he will turn out to be just like Charles Woodson.
