Why do ESPN analysts always bring up LA as a team that needs a NFL team??

Alabama and Oklahoma have Football crazed people..i think they would back a team and have an underdog type appeal...

Not London...Not LA....Small town USA where they are crazy about Football..Iowa, Alabama, Oklahoma, Arkanksas

What teams fans are losing interest?

Jacksonville! Empty stands..nobody watches

New York Jets they still fill the stands---watch on T.V.??

Oakland Raiders they still fill the stands---watch on T.V.??

KC Chiefs?? they still fill the stands---watch on T.V.??

Tennessee Titans- not far away and do they fill the stands??

Why LA?  Because it's the 2nd biggest city in the USA.  Behind New York.

So, for obvious reasons-ratings, exposure, $.

But, it's been said the Raiders were gang material, and so the NFL doesn't want to go back to that atmosphere.

I know why LA...Yea they have alot of people and exposure, but Move Oakland or San Diego to have another California team! Adding another team in that area; without elilminating one doesnt add up! San Diego and Oakland arent any good anyways...LA wouldnt be good, and LA people are fairweather.....Alabama, Oklahoma, Arkansas would fill the stands based on pride and principle....(just guessing??)

Eliminate 2 teams and add 4!!!

LA, Alabama, Oklahoma  and London

Alabama guy.....i would comfortably bet $10,000,000; that if all the Alabama players took hair and blood samples at least 10% of them would come up posetive for steroids and P.E.D.s, especially those for recovery and injury prevention.

It's all about being one of the biggest TV markets in the country,, either 1st or 2nd,, It's all about the $$$  not the fans

It is more about corporations buying luxury boxes than fans filling the cheap seats.  Buffalo has a passionate fan base in WNY and Ontario, but very few local corporations 

The problem with LA is that when the team is no good, they don't sell out and that means a blackout in the #2 market.  Most big market teams sell out no matter what.

Also, teams can extort the state by threatening to move to LA.  More than 1 stadium has been built with public money because of this

why are you so stuck on Alabama players taking PED's? I hate Bama but the players there aren't any more likely to take PED's than those at USC or anywhere else in the country. All these players get tested the same and some take chances and others don't. I played Div. I football and know how these things work. And for your information the Deer antler supplement is absolute garbage. It shouldn't be considered a PED. And yes I have a degree in sports nutrition and I know a ton of information on supplements, steroids, and PED's as I take lots of stuff myself. (all legal of course)

Are you kidding.....NCAAF is my favorite sport and Emmert finds any reason to look past his old buddy, former Employer, or anybody in the SEC....Along with that...ESPN has made most college football games and talk shows unwatchable due to the relentless SEC dominance talk.

Everyone knows the SEC Cheats...Cam Newton, Miss st., Alabama and LSU with Steroids...they take em right after the season....they get recruits with cash.

NCAAF isnt NCAAF....its SEC!! Everyone else is playing for no reason!
