I just have trouble seeing a Flacco/Wilson / Colin /Matty ICE or Matty Schaub= sneaking in here without a totally dominating D, which I have not seen this year.

Interesting idea, crash. If one were to go along with that line of thought, then I guess Green Bay, New England, and Denver would be who one should target. I actually think Kaepernick could show everyone how he's ready to become a really good QB really quickly. SF could do it the same way Pitt did it in 2005, before Big Ben became a great QB. He might surprise. But if one plays the odds, one would agree that he won't become that and in fact won't get to the Sb this year. Good thread.

Eli is inconsistent as hell.   If Eli can win two titles, you better believe that Matt Ryan can.

How can Matt Ryan win one when he chokes in playoff . Eli just inconsistent in the regular season. That's opposite of Matt Ryan .

Peyton 0-3 in his first 3 playoff starts.  7 one and dones.  A losing playoff record. 1 super bowl title.

But they have also both been to a lot of playoffs and are to a few super bowls, elite they are  still

I am not sold on flacco I think he is good but I still feel he is a step below elite. He really benefited from champ on torrey

The problem with this theroy is you could of said the same thing BEFORE any of those QB's won their 1st SB, you say that looking back not forward.

In 2007 nobody thought of ELI as an elite SB winn ing QB, in fact he was considered a disappointment for the no.1 overall taken player in the draft.

Your only saying he is a SB calibre QB looking back AFTER he won, would not of even consider it Before he won.

You might be talking about these other QB's next year in the same breath AFTER they win to.............................................
