Packers remind me of the Lakers, all offense and sub-par defense which is their Achilles heel, Kobe alike Rodgers can't do it all by themselves and defenses win championships in most sporting codes around the world.

Niners got great length and strength which has been a hallmark of their defensive structure all season long.
Even if Rodgers plays his finest game of the year, it's still only going to be good enough to snatch a victory against this young and extremely athletic unit.

Short line for SF is an issue. But I like Harbaugh with 2 weeks to game plan against the GB defense.  I see the SF TE and WRs having a big day behind the GB LBs trying to pinch to stop Gore and Kap.  SF defense will allow little run game and then harass Rogers with blitz.  SF loses if Kap throws 2 picks so he needs to get in space and run for 50 yards.   BOL

Until the last week of the year, they were 6th.&#xD;&#xA;As for SF....they played 9 games against teams 16th or worse in offense.  In the 7 games they played against GOOD offense, teams who rank in the top half they allowed 26.8 ppg.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;In fact, someone made a post on here, against teams with a WINNING record this year GB has played 9 while SF only 7, &#xD;&#xA;GB allows 22 ppg while SF allows 25....&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Sometimes you actually have to break down the stats.

What bothers me here is if the niners run against the Pack and I believe they will, it keeps Rogers off the field. On the other hand Rogers 11 TD&#x27;s no picks the last 3 games. May just go under the total here.

This game is a toss up. Anyone betting on it is basically guessing.

The reason why is each team is so jekyll and hyde. SF can't beat the Rams but wins with lots of points in NE? Then they get embarrassed by Seattle then beat Az? Packers have close calls against sub par teams that go down to the final minutes. Then lose to Min only to whoop them the next week?

The smart money is sometimes not playing it. I think I'm passing on this one. At least until half time .....
